It is frustrating for sure. Most affiliates want to see that you have traffic before they give you a link. Kinda like the cart before the horse, but that’s how it is.

I know it's aggravating but don't take it personal. It happens to most of us.

Don’t take it personal. You have to understand this is a business. They want to work with affiliates that have established targeted traffic.

What’s the point of accepting a site that doesn’t have that yet. It’s better to focus your time and energy on people that already have the audience that can convert.

That’s why I alway tell newbies don’t apply to affiliate programs for months later when you start to have content and traffic.

At the end of the day adding affiliate links during the early stage of your site is a waste of time because the first couple of months you won’t see any traffic. So it’s better to focus on writing content to get that traffic. Then go back apply and add affiliate links later. It may not be what you want to hear. But it’s real. So keep pushing forward.
