It's OK to pull over and "PARK"

Life sometimes throws you a curve ball, or basically things just happen. Sometimes when they do it can disrupt your life for a little while, hopefully not forever.

They say there is are two things we can be certain of in this life and that is Death and Taxes. I recently lost a very dear Aunt, although she was ill we never expected her to go as quickly as she did. I spoke with her the night before she left this world and I am so happy I got the chance to say goodbye.

I had to travel back overseas to London for her service and it was nice to be back home. However, with her passing I lost a lot of motivation and had to put myself in a Parking mode for a little while. I was a little worried that I would not get my mojo back, but then I realized, "It's okay to pull over and PARK sometimes."

By Parking, I mean to stop, regroup and reflect and mourn. This is normal and it is part of the grief process, but I cannot stay parked for long. It's been a few weeks now since her passing and I am ready to continue my Wealthy Affiliate mission. I am behind on my tasks but it's okay it's 5:00:am and I woke up with this on my mind and here I am writing this post.

My engine has come to life again and I am slowing pulling out of "PARK" mode and traveling back along my "ROAD TO SUCCESS."

You parked to pay your respects. Keep your Aunt in your prayers. And, now out of park, go for it. Just don't get a ticket unless its a ticket to Vegas!!

Hi Esme, Parking in such difficult times is the most sensible thing to do. When you start up again, you have the chance to reassess your destination and route and have it all fresh in your mind again.

All the best

Bryanb

Thank you Bryanb

I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is hard and it’s perfectly okay to park for a while.
Wishing you success as you get back to work.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Thank you Karen

Yes we all have to "park" from time to time. But it is ok . Like you said as long as we don't stay there we will be ok.
I'm glad you are back, I want to say I'm sorry for your lost but am glad you are feeling better today.

Tried and True

Elaine

Thanks Elaine, I am ready to rock and roll.

Hi Esme, firstly, I am sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love can certainly knock the wind out of you, you need that time to regroup, process what has happened and deal with the grief. Time is a great healer, and slowly your passion and motivation will return. Welcome back!!
Jenny

Thank you Jenny
