Seems Like We Had a Spy In Our Midst
I hope it is OK to report this, but I just finished reading a very thorough Review of Wealthy Affiliate by a recent member.
To be fair, most of what he said was true, and accurate.
He did not say we are a scam, which I already knew. He basically said he joined WA just so he could do a review on us. Here is his Profile
Some of the things that turned me off big time about him was all the curse words on his site. That is a BIG turn off for me. He also was full of Hype, another big turn off for me.
Even though he said quite a few accurate things about WA, one of his accusations turned me off. He claimed that most, if not all of the successful WA members here were lying about their incomes.
I knew that was not true. I have seen our screenshots.

I love WA, the honesty, integrity and the just sheer sincerity of both Kyle and Carson come screaming thru everything they say.
And not only that, the members here reflect our leaders, kind, helpful, caring and sincere.
Hope I did not make a mistake by posting this, this was actually the first time I ever saw a review on the internet that said some negative things about WA.
He even admitted that it was a rare thing to see a negative Wealthy Review, well, that sure says a lot, right?
I will not mention the company he is with, I see no need to. I know what I have got here!
I guess Kyle will let me know if I did a Boo Boo.

My experience here at WA has been the same as yours Phil; they are extremely helpful, kind and wanting to help others. No matter where you go, there will always be someone who brings in negativity. For me, I am extremely grateful to be a part of this community and being here is a real gift to me.

I saw a site once that was very negative about WA and quickly realised it was a sad lazy person and not worth getting annoyed over.
Every comment seemed to be from people who tried WA and left because they didn’t instantly make money, ie, within a couple of weeks. Either that or people who had to leave because of things they did wrong.
All were moaning about how hard done by they were.
I wanted to say they could try making an effort and working at it but new it wouldn’t do any good at all.

Perhaps he was just not willing to put in the effort and was using the hype and cursing to try and make a quick and easy income rather than an income based on integrity and hard work, helping others along the way.
I guess WA was not a good fit for him. I'm glad. We are better off without him.

We all know the saying, "The worst thing about bad publicity is NO publicity."
In that same light, many reviewers use all kinds to "headlines," slogans, and all kinds of claims, both positive and negative to get attention and then hope you click on some link to make a sale.
For me, I cannot control what other do. I just make sure what I do and have control over is done based on my principles and beliefs.
I believe there are many people out these in your respective niche that appreciates that and I like to engage with those.

Phil - Based on what you have reported, He did not join to write a review, He joined so that he could plunder, lie, and do everything for WA except tell the truth or even do a fair review, That in itself says a lot about what he really is.
Yes Edward, I have been thinking about it. I checked out what he had to offer INSTEAD of WA and it was a program that costs over one thousand bucks just to start!
But as I checked out their events, it was very low class and raunchy people basically bragging about what they do.
I actually concluded that even if it DID work like they said, I want no part of it because of all their cursing and immoral behaviors, not to mention their arrogance.
I LOVE to be around humble folks, like the folks here, Kyle and Carson are my kind of people.
