Framework! Niche Help Please?
"What should my niche be Frame?"
Sometimes finding your niche is actually the HARDEST part of this WHOLE training. And it's only one of the first few steps!
First off, breathe.
In reality, ANY niche is profitable! From just promoting WA to promoting yourself! (Look! There's 2 right there!)
And remember the more niche's, the more chances of becoming profitable!
But your asking what it SHOULD be right? Second off, let's forget that word 'should' and 'have too' and 'best niche'. My niche itself is a 'micro-niche' meaning it is a very specific niche aside a 'norm' niche, like losing weight or cooking. (Hey look, another two options!)
To answer the question in short, the best way to brainstorm your niche, is to find within yourself something that YOU enjoy doing! Think about it! Are you tech-savvy? Do you like to sell items on eBay? Is your day job something you could write a 50 page book on because you know it so well?
How about YOUR hobbies? Do you enjoy arts and crafts? Are you some type of musical prodigy or just enjoy the new radio tunes? Do you enjoy writing fiction or nonfiction pieces on everyday life or even that one class you learned in school? How about taking pictures, or blogging on a certain life topic. Do you have kids? What about parenting advice, or political views on world topics like abortion. How about those awesome HOW-TO do certain things like building, or cheap shopping? Are you a coupon person; why not show others where to find the best world wide!
I always STRONGLY suggest something you enjoy or are knowledgeable about, because aside the awesome WA training on how to put these ideas into profit, you'd rather be documenting on something you enjoy right? If you choose a niche like "losing weight" because that's the example one, yet you have weight issues yourself or don't have a CLUE where to start, your not going to enjoy creating the/new content and you will soon lose the momentum to keep your site up.
"Okay so far you've given me some ideas, but aren't those over-used? What should mine be then?"
No niche is "over used" because every piece of content on all the different sites are DIFFERENT.
If you choose a niche that even might be 'over used' if it is something you enjoy blogging and creating content about, you will be very surprised on how easy it will be to make your niche DIFFERENT even with the same concept.
There are MILLIONS of people on the internet. If you choose a niche that you will enjoy writing about like a hobby, career, yourself, or international news, of course there are others, but if you put your time and effort into your niche and dedicate yourself to what you say, ANY niche that you have will become profitable!
"Okay so I still don't have a niche in mind. I got your concept idea of how to keep one profitable, but again, what would be the best one?"
Like I said, Breathe.
The first place in your mind to brainstorm is the things you love to do, write, or talk about.
Look deep inside your heart, let your brain give you a few ideas, then start jotting them down. After that, pick the ideas you could write content about that will include your ideals, other peoples ideals, and ultimately, something that COMPLETELY interests you. Process of elimination should lead you to your best options!
"I have a micro niche, isn't that a harder sell then a normal average niche?"
I personally have a micro niche, (SH! Never tell, as they say here haha) and I will admit at first it CAN be a harder sell then the average Joe weight loss site. What I did, and what I suggest for you! is to start your micro niche as a 'normal' niche. Make sure you have all the basic concepts and content on your page before you add in what makes your niche very different, 'micro niche.' Thus, learning the steps in WA, you will already have interested traffic, and as you add that special touch content to create your micro niche, you will be amazed at the amount of CONSISTENT traffic you will have! The key is to KNOWING the main niche, then ADDING the special content later!
