Writing out Content
I am at a stand still right now with this level. Its not because I am afraid to write I am just blocked at the moment. It seems that I am trying to figure out how to move forward. I just can't. I feel as though I need to be able to build better. To continue to make things happen the way I want them to Happen. Having a pre-built website can only get you so far. Then it seems you would want to do things differently than the themes have laid out for you.
This is my struggle right now. i need more autonomy on my website in the building aspect. Its not really doing what I want.

Hi Prestonator, I just read your comments about being at a stand still. I am sort of in the same situation. I actually have the content, the layout seems confusing and I don't know where to start. The "websites" look more like blogs and don't seem to have a feel or look of a website. Did you end up contacting the themes and what was the result? Thanks
I didn't have much luck connecting with anyone that could change the themes. That doesn't mean you won't have a better chance, though.
I did find a theme I was willing to work with for what I wanted. I just had to dig deeper and search more themes. There are thousands of themes out there.
Even though you need to build the site based on your thoughts, feelings and ideas, you still need to keep things clean and simple for your visitors. At the end of the day, you have to put them first.
If you are struggling with the theme, contact the theme designer with your questions and they will be able to advise you on making changes through a child theme.
You could also look at some of the other themes and see if any of them will do what you have in mind.

Not sure what to tell you as i am just starting to build mine and there is a lot to learn.
I think you just have to chip away at it and see what you can find and try until you have the right mix which will work for you.
