Hello WA members,
I just got a notification from WordPress that my site is getting new user registration. Can someone shed the light if it's a good thing and what it
Hi Marina. A new user registration is simply someone who has registered with your site. Go into your WP control panel and scroll down to the users, click on that and you should see who registered. I'm guessing you have your site set up so that people must register before they post a comment? You can check that in your General settings. Hope this helps. Alanna
You need to check the box on your dashboard - appearances - settings - general - uncheck te box before anyone can register.
then delete them and reste password
Could be good or bad. WordPress(and other open source platform) sites are major targets of spambots and backlink spammers. You'll eventually learn to tell pretty easily which are legit and which aren't most of the time.
Do you have a site that encourages visitors to register?

Hello WA community! I just purchased a domain name at name cheap but hesitant to do the "actual" move from rubrix to my domain. Can someone confirm that ones I do that, it is p
You can move it now, and complete it little by little as i guess there nothing like a complete website since over the time we like to change it formats, the menu etc as we learn new tricks. So you can move it now. =^-^=
I agree with everything you're saying but the perfectionist in me is holding back and saying: " I need to have all the affiliate links set up, all the pages, etc" Wouldn't the unfinished site impact the user experience?"
I would move it. That seems to be the norm. The faster you move it, the quicker you will be indexed. It takes time to get unique visitors. The visitors experience will be same regardless where it is.
I think it is best to move now and use your domain name to your advantage. It is your “BRAND” – who you are, what you are doing and the future base of your accomplishments.
Nothing will change when you transfer to a domain you own, I don't see where it makes a difference plus you can keep your rubix site.
