Notification of action taken on your YouTube video
I got a notice from YouTube about my 2 videos. These are:
Get Answers Now At Wealthy Affiliate - No Such Thing As A Dumb Question
Create Free Online Website
When I go to where I uploaded each video, I found this notice:
"YouTube users have flagged this video as possibly a scam, spam, or commercially deceptive content"
Anyone going to watch my video now has to log in because my videos have been flagged as age restricted. The emails that notified me of the restriction says
"Everyone hates spam. Misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails designed to increase views are not allowed. It's also not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages."
I've gone through Youtube's rules and checked through my videos and I can't determine what I've done wrong. I thought I would ask the community before I tried an appeal.
Anyone else having this problem?
Do you see anything obvious in what I have done to warrant this?
Thank you.
Doug

To revamp this issue, I put up a third video in YT and now I have the same problem with this video http://youtu.be/y1M_xwo2q0k. I think the problem is that I have 16 comments that are exactly like my video description. These comments indicate that I put them there but I did not do that.
Is there a glich in YT that anyone noticed?
I wonder if someone is getting into my account and doing this. I will remove the comments, change my password and appeal.
Any thoughts?
By the way, when I try to appeal, YT tells me that my account is in good standing so I can't figure out how to appeal.
I am getting a little frustrated with YT and may start looking at other places to put my videos. Any suggestions?
Doug, I just posted a comment on your video. I notice that your video comes up with possible inappropriate content?
That sounds like someone may have hacked your account and is using comment spam to cause issues for you and Youtube. Be sure to run a virus scan on your computer, delete all cookies, clear your cache, and change your Google Password.
I think somebody got into my YT account and left 16 identical comments in my name. At this point, I don't know how to appeal.

Hi Doug, I don't see anything wrong with your video and thanks for sharing this as we do have other choices to share our videos.
Depending on the outcome of my appeals, I may be picking your brain for those. Thanks for your response.

I Can see you have put a Affiliate link in The discription. I Think thats Way you get a flag. I Think it much better to link to you blog instead
It was part of the training to put in that link. However, you might be right and Google does not like it anyway.
Thanks.

Yes, there have been others at WA that have had the same issues. Most likely competitors. ;(
I have just had the same thing done to one of my videos and I can't see anything that may be unwanted content.
I can't see anything wrong with yours either.
I think steveo may have a point and competition have had something to do with it.
Surely when YouTube have a look they can see all is OK.
Keep us updated on what you find out.

Competition trying to get your videos removed likely. This is an unfortunate thing that some of us have to deal with.

It's most likely sour grapes users flagging the content and then you get the automated actions until a human finally reviews and then clears your videos. Personally it's best to be a member long enough to become an YouTube Creator because then you just have to note that the video contains a paid product placement and it wont get flagged for SPAM.
