How often do you hear yourself saying: "No, I haven't done it...yet; I've been meaning to."

Procrastination is a belligerent, pesky fella who wears many hats...

Disorganization

Time Management

Stress-induced catatonia

Frozen nerves

Lack of inspiration

There are many forms of procrastination.

 But you're not alone.

Many people feel great having invested in their marketing education.

They pledge to dive into the materials as soon as they have time.

But of course life happens and learning is put on the back burner for ‘when you have the time.’

Or you may read all the material, watch all the videos and listen to all the audios. You have the best intentions to take action...when you’ve learned one more thing, grasped one more concept...figured out how to ‘put it together coherently, productively and successfully.”

Or you may be the one who study, research, stop reading, take a deep breath and actually start doing.

Learning the skill set, knowledge and ‘expensive mistakes’ that other people have made is definitely beneficial and smart but you can't really master a skill or a business until you
actually take the leap, create your first product, offer your
first service, and make your first sale.

Knowing theory without taking action is useless.

What will you do within the next 24 hours?

The time for action is now.

Well beating procrastination is something I am not to hot at but I get the job done. Just takes a bit. Some one once said that procrastination will kick your butt if you dont take the proper steps. He suggest that you take the smallest steps towards what ever you are avoiding in what ever form your comfortable with. Such as you need to write an article but you really dont want to. start small go sit in the computer room. turn it on. what ever small step you need to in the right direction. open up word.... type a sentence... if you still dont feel the grove. stop. If the Marketing Gods give you the kick you need then write till you cant. stop save post. Repeat. The point is to take babys steps so that you think hmm not so bad. Or geesh I came this far may as well do the next part. soon as you know it your 3 articles deep and on a role. P.s turn the TV off it will kill you. If you need noise try music. Somethign in a different language will distract you but not stop you. Or choose a song you know by heart so that your not distracted by something unexpected.

On a side note Im taking the plunge to develope my own product. Please take a look at this link. If you like the sound of it please spread it. The more people who see it the more likely we will be to meet our funding goals. http://www.vbizpartner.com/crowdfunding/1008/ViewCrowdFundingRequest.html
Thanks

P.s. not an affiliate link or a sales pitch.

The time for action is always now, any delay leads us into procrastinations trap, from which it is almost impossible to escape!

Hi there...I am Kathy and I am a procrastinator!
Here's the thing...I know why I procrastinate...I know what to do to stop the procrastinating....and I've even done it. But just as sure as it's going to get really cold here in Minnesota...I always slip right back into this procrastinating mode!

I know I could be a damn good marketer and be making money but procrastination always gets in my way and I trip over it big time. Any proven suggestions that will help me stay on track?

Procrastination is my favorite sin. I'm putting, and putting stuff off, and sometimes I start day with a fire that weakens as the day flows by. And a first, better difficulty discourages me. I know what I should be doing and how. WA is a great service, but I don't know WTF is going on with me..... And this is why I'm not a successful person. :(

You usually procrastinate and put off the thing you dread doing, which is usually the thing that you need to do the most. There's usually fear around it. When you face the fear and do that thing you've been dreading, it's not hard at all. Then you wonder why you have delayed your own progress.

It is the "doing" that makes the difference. What moves a person to begin "dong'? What gives them that combination of knowledge, courage and gumption to launch themselves into any new undertaking?

I contend it boils down to a struggle between fear (of failure or success) & the motivation to create whatever change is desired.

Choose progress. Begin the "doing". Press forward.

Procrastination - The friendliest enemy you will ever have.

Procrastination has the potential to affect many areas in your life. You may have 10 things on your to-do-list but focus on the one thing that is absolutely important to you...focus on the 'why'...direct all of your energy to that one action...and procrastination won't be able to stop you...you will procrastinate in the other 9 area but the one area that is absolutely important to you, closest to your heart, will be the one thing that you will experience a breakthrough.

Don't give up!

Procrastination - The friendliest enemy you will ever have.

I found that there is no cure for Procrastination. Think of it as more of an addiction that can seep back into your life when you start making excuses.

I argued with a friend once on whether you can totally rid yourself of Procrastination and lost the argument. He was able to convince me that I was wrong and that once you start doing everyday your Procrastination is cured. He came back later to tell me that I was right and he was wrong. I did not want to hear that.

The time for action is now, well said!
