My Progress So Far
In the short time that I have been with WA, (Wealthy Affiliates), I have started the lessons which are pretty knowledgeable, upgraded to Premium, which was solely my choice, so that i can benefit from the extended support, loads of tools, friendly and helpful team members, and enjoy an awesome atmosphere, which you just don't find anywhere else.
I have only been here for a few days now and I have learned a lot with these lessons. Not only have I started building my website, I purchased a domain, set it up on the servers, and added my admin e-mail address. I still have some things I have to figure out but I am sure It will out. The Word Press feature used to create the websites within WA is not my thing because I am use to HTML to create websites.
Okay, now you are probably wondering so why join WA if you can build websites with HTML? Simple, I love knowledge. Knowledge is a powerful thing. A website is only a website, you have to learn the rest of the stuff that goes with it. Things like: do I have the right content? The right product? Is it user friendly? Is it educational? Are the keywords right for traffic or search engines? What about graphics, themes, ranking?
The knowledge at WA is seriously overwhelming. It's all free education. I sit back and think about many of the other sites I went to looking for knowledge, and trust me, there were many, and i just think to myself, why are these other sites existing? These places want all kinds of money for every little thing and that's before you even know what it is they are even going to do for you, Most of them claim they do not charge that everything is free, until you get there. Not WA, they do exactly what they claim. In no way do they charge for anything. Premium is an option. Your choice.
As far as I am concerned, they are the only place to go. They are just like going to school. An online course if you will. Online is how I learned to build websites with HTML, through a Phoenix University. Job loss ended my education at that time. I was in the middle of my Bachelor's degree. WA is a university. The lessons with video, certification courses, classrooms and more.
Nobody should waste their time going door to door, so to speak, they should just remove all of the others and send everyone to the University of WA. I'm serious, these guys are the real deal. I can't say enough about them. All in all, I think I have come a long way in a short time.
