I took a hiatus, but now I'm BACK!

I started my Wealthy Affiliate trial membership 6 days ago. Three days ago, I took a break. I was overexcited, overloaded, and overwhelmed. But now I'm refreshed and back. I made over $90 in a little over a week and a half on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk). I also started being active in the Reddit community. I found a subreddit that focuses on MTurk HITs recommendations and encourages people to post links to good HITs through Adf.ly. That way, active members who offer recommendations can get something akin to a commission for their effort. I made over $1.63 using Adf.ly, and I'm starting to understand how Earn Per Click works :) Over $1.63 on Adf.ly means that roughly 804 people have clicked on my subreddit links.
I also posted a direct link to my website http://www.pookywelch.com, not through Adf.ly, on another MTurk subreddit. This drove 83 people to my website last week, and I had no clue people were even going to my site until I checked the stats on Wordpress. Although most people got to my site through the Reddit link I posted, other people have been finding my site through search engines!
Even though no one has posted any comments on the site, I haven't earned a single cent from my website at this point, and no one has clicked on any of my referral links thus far, I'm still pretty pleased with myself.
So I'm back. I just needed that refresher. I keep hearing that one of the top ways that new WA members fail is by being too easily discouraged. Thank you to all other members over the weekend who told me that it's okay to take a break, and that this is a marathon, not necessarily a race :)
