I've been a bad WA member...
I haven't written anything in almost a month! I took one day off. That turned into two days, then a week, etc. Now, it's been almost a month since I've written anything or updated my website. Luckily, my Squidoo articles have still been churning out sales, but nowhere near the number of sales I made during the Halloween season.
Now that Christmas is around the corner, I've noticed a pickup in sales on my Squidoo pages, and that is motivating me to get started again!
However, due to my general sloth and the distraction of Thanksgiving, I am way behind schedule. I only met a tenth of my NaNoWriMo goal, so my e-book is taking a very long time to write, almost to the point where I've lost interest in it entirely.
I feel like a different person than I was a month ago. A month ago, I was excited, optimistic, and energetic.
Today, I am a bum.
Blah.

Can happen to anyone. Don't beat yourself up. Knuckle down and get stuck in and double your results. Should not be too difficult. Blessings!
I agree with the others. Sometimes a break is good for you. It helps you to rethink if your current websites are doing good, and in your case you still were receiving sales. Also, taking time off may allow you to see some new possibilities that you may want to consider to get evolved in. A new niche or product. I have seen two TV commercials and added new websites based upon what I saw. Keep your radar up and alert for any new products and niches to write about.
The main thing is that you do not give up and I know that you wont. When I go on vacation, I do not even concern myself with my business. But, I do look to see if I have any sales. I look for any possible new opportunities that I can add to my sites and ways to improve existing sites to get more visitors.
Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Sometimes breaks are good for you. Just don't expect to grow while you are taking a break, set yourself some goals now for the month ahead and get back into productivity mode. Great to hear that sales have been consistent..they will only continue to grow as you invest more time and energy into your business. :)
Welcome back for your hiatus! lol
The outside world happens along with the highs-and-lows of online working. I never beat myself up over it. Often some of my best inspiration and successes have come about through combining the real and the virtual together. That's hard to do if you never get outside. NaNoWriMo will come around again before you know it and you now have masses of time to prepare for ScriptFrenzy. Give yourself a break and .... Enjoy!
Thank you, Rich! That's a wonderful way to look at it. You're absolutely right. I will enjoy. Thanks! :)
We all go through this. It just sounds like it's time for you to get back at it! We're here for you! Get busy now! LOL Glad to see you back!

lol ... I love how you write Pooky! It's so honest and I can just imagine you sat there in a bit of a grump with yourself ... lol. Fortunately I'm sure it won't last because as everybody else says, a break can be great for you and once you pick up the mantle and see those numbers going up again I'm sure you're natural exuberance will have you back on top inspirational form! Thanks for being genuine and bringing a warm smile to my face Pooky :)
Thank you, Fallulah! You just brought a smile to my face, too :)
