When a niche may disappoint
My niche is part of the travel sector; I am focussing on 3 points, solo female travel, solo backpacking and how to find huge reductions in flights and accommodation (ask https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/phoenixflame for our little search for her parents).
I was wondering, hoping, that my little tinsy-winsy blog here can find someone to reassure me, or slap my chops and say "ya blitherin ole fool"
All was going okay, my site is on Google 1st page and Bing 1st page for 4 of my keywords and within the first 10 pages for over 20 more - so that part is going well.
BUT
The affiliate commissions are so low I am actually wondering if I have made a bad choice; commissions range from 0.5% to around 8% for the advertisers I want to work with.
I have been accepted on to booking.com (the major accommodation website in the UK, and possibly overseas too), eBay, Etihad, EasyJet and more, so that is good too.
If I were to start from the beginning again, I am not sure I would choose this niche! I find myself wandering back to the dark and eery thinking corner, where I am alone in my thoughts!

Kudos to you for getting off to a nice start with your website. However, I was just wondering if you should narrow your travel niche to either just solo female travel and/or how to find low cost flights and accommodations. I would think that this area of your niche would attract a lot of interest. I would not give up on it just yet, unless you really want to.
