Once you download your premium theme on your computer, must you use the same computer when you do updates and other installations? Like what happens after you upload theme? I
Updates should be automatically done through your Wordpress admin area. I just updated my theme a couple of days ago and it was done through there.
Since WA and WP are internet based, you can access them with whatever you have and wherever you are.
Barry
no you can access WA from telephone, tablet etc so long as you remember your user and password

I have located a Word Press Theme through another website and I want to enter it under the " Build Your Website Here". How can I do this without going through the whole list?<
He's almost there. He bought a paid theme, so he uploaded the zip files in the wp admin area.
Now he just has to get the site up and running by deleting the httpdocs/index.html file according to the WA instructions on the front page of his site.
He was on a tablet and had some issues so will be trying a PC later.
You can also go to your dashboard and then look at Wordpress and see sample themes and pick to preview
As you browse around the Internet, start to notice website themes of sites that catch your eye. (theme is at the bottom of the main site page) Sometimes you can discover a theme that would work for you and you get to see layout possibilities as you inspect the site. Just an idea. Dave.
Just log in to your site, go to appearance and you can search for or upload the theme you want there.
If haven't already picked a theme at the Build Your Website Here" step, just pick any theme and then go to your site where you can go to appearance and change it.
I am in the wa site right now. I do not see Appearance. Please tell me where it is located.

You need to be in your website, not WA. Have you created your site yet? If not, create it with any theme, then log in. Appearance is in the WordPress admin area of your site.

Hi,
We need some help from you. We are building a directory website, such like yp.com or yelp.com. Any suggestions on which theme works best for this type of website would
What kind of directory? Is it category specific?
I just left a company called EZtoUse, owned by Ogden Publications; they have been publishing since the 1890s (magazines, newsletters, and directories), to include Yellow Pages directories. A lot of people don't realize that the Yellow Pages directories in print ARE the original "search engines"... in fact, THAT is what (yp) and (yel p) stands for.
The EZtoUse company is slowly making the transition to online directories, they have "partnered" with Google in order to compete for Keywords online... and it's costing them a pretty penny.
Check them out... maybe you can get some ideas for your website.
I found this one, but it is not free...assuming you want Wordpress...

Hope that helps :-)
