I first learned to write a webpage in 1998. I went to nightschool and followed the very basic html course and then went on to make some pretty large (and important) websites. I have enjoyed each and every one of them but a few years ago other things took over so I had to let them drop off.

Being on here and back into making websites made me realise how much I had actually missed it,but, I have had so many new things to learn.

My previous 2 posts have been about my success, within 14 hours of starting writing a webpage it got to the first page in both Google and Bing. Here is how I did that.

I was writing about one of my passions, travelling. In 2014 I did a solo trip to Africa, calling at Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa and my first stop was to be at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. During researching my upcoming trip I recall one of the searches I did back then, it was "solo female safety Zimbabwe", and although a lot of results popped up I was disheartened there was nothing specific for me.

With that in mind, I wanted to make sure that any females doing a solo trip to Zimbabwe would have some indepth knowledge of the place, the area, the people, not a lot of generiic safety travelling tips.

I did a brainstorming map (geeky i know, but I do this for work too!) and then tested my keywords in Jaxxy.

Once in Jaxxy I jiggled the keywords around, getting different combinations, some new words, and the ones I tried almost 2 years ago.

I discarded plenty of words, but picked up more on Jaxxy.

I spent a good 2 hours on Jaxxy and I loved it, it was like getting into the mind of female travellers from around the globe; no matter how good I thought my own keywords were, I knew there would be better ones.

Well, as it turned out, I stuck with the one I chose almost 2 years ago for my main one, "solo female safety Zimbabwe" but then had another 10 that directly related to that keyword.

The buzz I got from seeing my page on number 1 on google and bing was amazing!
