Why I Love Wealthy Affiliate
Due to the dip in the market for engineering construction projects, at the end of May this year (2017), I found myself out of work as my contract came to an end. For the first month I grappled with the possibility that I was entering an enforced retirement. I found myself wasting time watching movies and looking at Facebook, actually gaining no benefit from the internet. Then by chance I came across a review of WA as an internet marketing programme.
I took the plunge, hey it was free, and I immediately saw the potential of how it could help me generate (in the long term) a sustainable income to support my large family.
Since embarking on this journey I have hardly watched a movie, and I don't remember what a TV is, lol.
I find myself using the internet for much more useful and potentially valuable reasons as I do my research. It's frustrating at times, and even during these first few months I have, on more than one occasion, found myself asking, 'what the hell are you trying to achieve?'. But the training keeps me going, the support from new friends in the community picks me up when I'm feeling down or uncertain. You guys are amazing!
Thanks to Kyle and Carson for the effort and willingness to share this awesome model. You truly are lifesavers and an inspiration.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I love Wealthy Affiliate.

It's amazing right how some of us more mature types can still learn about this internet marketing stuff and the training makes it so clear (mostly ... lol)
Exactly! It's kind of like watching your favourite football team (or in my case rugby) get so close to scoring then at the last moment missing that goal. But then the thrill comes back as they do it again, and again, and again, and then finally they score! It's a huge relief with a mix of euphoria, and that's exactly how I feel when I finally publish a post to my website, lol.
I fill the same way about WA it is a great place to learn. Good look and wishing you the best here at WA
Not yet, and I don't expect to for some time, but I am confident that in the long run i will. It's not a 'get rich quick' scheme. It's going take a lot of hardwork and perseverance, but isn't that the fact for any new business?
All I can do is give you the same advice that I have been given, just follow the training, develop your content, once you have traffic then think about monetising your website. Have faith in yourself and the niche that you have chosen. If you get stuck, you can ask a question in the box at the top of the WA page, once you start typing the question you may see that the topic is already covered.
Oops... and don't forget the live chat, many guys are really helpful there too.
Think long term, 6-12 months, before generating serious income.
I wish you all the best in your endeavour.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
I see you're in the 'Top 100', so you must be doing something right, lol.

ever think about being a coach?
In my earlier days I used to give training for ISO 9001 Quality Management and was apparently quite good at it. But I confess that I’m not entirely comfortable standing in front of an audience.
Having said that, I have started consultancy work this year.
