I'm starting a clothing line outside of my WA site and niche site... am I able to build it through WA's WordPress and add plugins to take payments and stuff like that, or would
You CAN sell your own Products via Woo Commerce or s2Member Plugins.. I sell a few of my own now and I plan on selling 800,000 once I get my inventory done. Selling your own products is simple.
I moved my ENTIRE Coffee Distributorship to a WordPress site first on WA then I moved it to Host Gator. Check with members who have been here for a while. I know one guy sells his Custom Made Cables through a site that is hosted at WA.
I have heard that since Paypal changed their rules in mid-October to require SSL that that kind of blew up a lot of people's sites. I stand corrected if you can still process payment through WooCommerce without SSL.
Nice, good to know! Are there other fees and things involved if I go the Woo Commerce plugins? Or do those come from Pay Pal account on the receiving payment end? I'm sure there are many ways this plays out, but in your experience how have the fees worked on accepting payments?
Good to know. Do you know if there will be an announcement when SSL is implemented on WA sites? Or will there a way to find out from the admin side of WP when logged in to my site to be able to tell?
Yes, there will be an announcement, and yes, when your sites have it implemented, it will default to https:// instead of http:// - it's already working for some sites.
Not yet. Once SSL is implemented, then you will be able to sign up with a payment processor in order to sell directly from your site. SSL is in the midst of being implemented, we're just awaiting final confirmation.

Can a wa wordpress site be set up to sell your own products?

Good question .. have been following the comments. I only have a couple of things that I sell online right now so I just use paypal buy now buttons. But i am interested with how one expands that. Cheers, William.
My product line is going to be apparel based, and I'll be using a company called Printful to actually do the production and shipping of the different products, so I guess I'll be more of a dropshipper as opposed to holding my own inventory... but I'll be doing the design work and marketing.
I say all that to say that I've found several themes that are eCommerce based that are very compatible with WooCommerce and have the extension to connect to the company Printful... so I'm guessing that it will work out to build this on WA's style of WordPress and run plugins and extensions to get all the functionality accomplished.
Hope that update helps.
That is great .. I want to get into the apparel business a little down the track based on my wifes fitness business brand. I am not sure of the steps we need to take. I will take a look at the printful website. Thanks for your help. It is all a huge learning experience! Cheers, William.

Personally for me, I'm all about having multiple streams of income... investments and businesses being my primary goal. But one question that most people need to ask themselves
Thank you for the reassurance on both choosing online marketing and the WA platform as the best road to business success! Much-appreciated!
You're welcome Pauline! Best of luck to you, and if you need help with anything never be afraid to ask someone directly or the community as a whole!

You can start by evaluating a range of affiliation opportunities looking at the reviews and prioritizing those that suit you best.
Agreed, that plays into that HOW you create income part in my opinion... the range of different opportunities is endless and never the same for any two people! It's incredible, any definitely the way to go these days!
