I'm thinking about starting an online store. Do people use their names in an online store? I was thinking about patsonlinestore.com. Does that sound good?

That sounds ok Pat just got to get the traffic now and I am sure WA community will help.

good name , products ?

Hi, the name is catchy as others have commented . I think Steph came up with the best idea...best of luck to you.

Yes, I agree and will probably go with her idea. Thanks LLiu.

Catchy name but is there something that could describe what you sell that would make a good name? That way when someone see it they say that is the place I need to go.

Thank you very much.

That sounds fine. I think as long as you make your store name relevant to your site and what you are selling you will do fine. Is that going to be the focus of your site? An online store? What kind of things are you selling?

I'll be selling mainly women stuff, like purses, bags, watches, anything for women. I'm a guy, but women shop more than men and I think I could have a good market.

That sounds great. You could call it something related to woman's products. You could call it PatsStoreForWomen or PatsWomenApparel - that way you use your name plus what you are selling....

Hey thanks, that first one sounds great. Thank you again.

You are welcome. Good luck!

Good question! I don't have an answer to this question, but would like to know tho...

have you tried it as a widget on your sidebar

No. I will try. Was hoping to put in pist like kyle did.

Ruined?

There is a video tutorial on this, I recommend you to watch it.

Paste in in text mode, not visual mode. After saving, look at the preview and you should see it. It will NOT be visible in your post editor.

That's what i did. But srill nothing.

Same thing happened to me.... There was an offending plugin not allow the Javascript (the code the Jaaxy plugin uses) to work correctly.

You might have to disable other plugins and then turn them back on one by one until you figure it out. Worked in my case.

Authoring & Writing Content

If I'm correct, I believe that in one of the lessons Kyle mention to try and write at least 1500 words. I'm writing a post on Wealthy Affiliate, not a review because I already d

If you view your website health - on the login page - you will see that under Content and Variety it is mentioned that 1500+ is good but that you should vary. I suspect that this is for SEO purposes.
I know that some say people don't read long content. I'm no expert, and I think they will read it if it's engaging, but writing irrelevant stuff just to make a target I don't think will work either.
I figure mix it up. Do a long one - do a short one.
I wouldn't go less than 500 though, but that's only an opinion.
I tend to be long-winded as you may have gathered from my answer, but if you've read it to the end then.....

Hi there, I try to write between 500-700 words for my posts. I think 1500 words is a bit much and also overwhelming when you sit down to write each time. Also, keep in mind that people are short on time these days and the trend toward training and ebooks is shorter is better because people don't want to read novels--they want the information now and move on. I don't remember seeing 1500 words being the minimum. However, when writing content, I make sure I hit between 500-1000 words per page. I think it's important to have good content. Good luck!

1500 is about right for getting better ranking in search engines. recommend you divide it and make to post.

Yes, some are long... but I seem to remember Kyle speaking on shorter content... I do have 1 employee, Agnes who is often guilty of writting a BOOK... and she writes 25% of our posts.

I am bad; I don't think any of mine is very wordy but to the point so as time goes I will add to pages and post if needed.

Mine are usually 1000 to 1500. Sometimes they go under if I can get the information out in fewer words, sometimes over. It depends.

I'm not quite sure if there is a rule on Google, but my posts ranked on the first (or second or third) page are about 600 words... none of the ones with less than 500 is ranked...

This is worth reading! Mine vary--500-1500 depending on the topic.

I had one article with over 2000 words and it ranked first. So I don't think it will matter much. Sometimes the reader may skip through if it's too long, that's the only issue I can see.
Cheers,
Milla

Google definitely likes large posts.. 1000 words is around my average..

Sorry to bother u. The post I wrote is learn to make money with wealthy affiliate part . would it be fine to have the same title and put part 2

Yes, but use a different keyword for the part 2

Thank you

I have 2 websites. One of them, I can click on it and open the dashboard. I can go to my posts but when I hit new post, it's a white screen, won't let me write a new post. Does

I also would suggest using chrome, or firefox.

Check if it is browser related by trying another one such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc...

If it is browser related you may just need to clear your browser cache. Usually that is via CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE on your keyboard while in the web browser.

I'll try, I use Chrome.

I had this happen a few months back, I tried everything under the sun. In the end I put it down to a problem with my web browser.

As I like to use Firefox I installed Pale Moon, which is basically a reworked version of Firefox & low & behold, my WordPress worked ok.

Out of curiosity, I tried to use Firefox again recently & it still isn't working, even with the WordPress update.

Pale moon is also my favorite browser. One of the big differences between it and Firefox is that pm is optimized for 64 bit processors. It tends to work better on everything. Like Firefox it is a Mozilla based.

Well, I can't vouch for how it performs on a 64 bit system as I'm still using Windows XP on a 10 year old system lol. But once I'm making some cash online, a new pc is the first item in my shopping list :)

All I do know, is, I'm unable to get my WordPress Visual Editor working in Firefox, yet it works perfectly in Pale Moon.

I'm using WordPress 4.2 as my last up date on a Tempra theme with no problems. Is that the latest up date that you are talking about having issues with. If it is, try a reload to fix the glitch.

having the same issue on my end. When trying to write new post in the visual tab it takes a long time for the cursor to appear.

possibly something to do with the latest update of wordpress.. not sure at this stage
