Progress so far
Hello everybody at Wealthy Affiliate. Writing a blog for the way things are going right now with WA. So far, I guess it's okay so far. I'm still doing the training. Almost finish with Course 2. I'm looking forward to Course 3. Can't wait. Now with the holidays gone, it's hard for me to get on computer, but I will try my best to do something everyday at least. The learning here is wonderful, the people are really helpful. So far I'm really enjoying the experience
Website I've created
The website that I created is all about losing weight. The name of it is http://losingweightwithpat.com. As I write, I think or at least hope my writing skills are getting better. I like to help people, especially lose weight, but it's not all about losing weight, it's also about being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. I do hope that you will visit and I'll also visit your websites.
Things I'm proud of
Let's see what can I say, hhhhmmmmmmmm. Well I'm proud of the way my website looks, I guess it looks ok. I google a couple of my post but did not see any ranked, but then I googled my website, I just put in losing weight with pat, Too my amazement, I wasn't on the first page but I was I the 2nd page about half way down. To me, that is a big accomplishment. I'm hoping soon I could be financially successful. .Right now it's all about blogging and trying to get ranked for me.
Next 3 months
In the next 3 months I hope to be ranked good, have some affiliate links up and making some money. Hopefully enough money to start getting out of debt. That is my goal. I will make it happen.
Next 6 months
In the next 6 months, I hope to really start making money where if I can't quit my job yet, that I'm close to quitting and doing this full time. If I didn't have to work, I would put 8 to 10 hours a day except on Sunday, into this job.

Well that's it for now, I hope to make more friends.I find the people at WA are nice and very helpful. I want to thanked Kyle and Carson for giving me the opportunity for being a part of this team. I want to thank all the people who have helped me so far up to this point. Also I would like to thanked support, I sent I ticket into them so far and they were very quick at fixing my problems. I have a website with hostgator. Have not worked on it to much since I have been with WA. It's called http://patsreviews.com. I'm thinking about bringing over here and maybe doing the bootcamp. I got that website before I discover WA. Again thank you and have a wonderful and blessed 2015.

Hey Patrick I'm at about the same stage through the training but you have made more progress for sure with regard to your content.

Also thought I might offer one piece of feedback if I may. It only my opinion but it is based on 30 years as a graphic designer. I found the reversed grey type out of the purple background a little difficult to read. Generally speaking as a designer I try and avoid large amounts of content copy being reversed out ie: light type on dark backgrounds.
Because if you are catering for "losing weight when your over 40" or 50 or 60 (there's some keywords right there lol) - the old eyesight isn't what it used to be.

I see that Greg has left you a suggestion on the color of your site. He makes a good point and one from his graphic design experience. I am trying to find this same point that was made by Kyle, just don't remember what lesson it was in.
What I do recall is that he recommended to write black on your white pages, that it is easier for a person to read. One thing for sure is he has the experience and know how to make things work in creating successful online businesses. Because of that I have chosen to follow that experience, but I like color too so have found a way to keep it in my site.
May I suggest you reconsider the bright color of your site and instead bring color into it with your images or a border you might be able to create with your theme.
Keep at this. Remember it is a learning curve. I get that you are working hard already juggling work with working on learning here. I am in your cheering section now.
