Power of Positivity!
I just recieved feedback on my site that was full of negative personal opinions. The person who reviewed my site has several websites, and has been working on them for some time now. My site is less than a week old, and was being critiqued as if it was finished.
I'm no rocket scientist, but as I review and and offer feedback I can tell a work in progress from something thrown together and passed off as complete.
As a positively oriented person, any negativity resonates strongly. I don't think the person is a bad or mean person, I just think the person is a negative person in general. When I looked at this person's blog it was full of 'woe is me' and negativity. So I can tell it's probably a way of life for them.
With that being said, I'd like to challenge myself and everyone who offers advice to come from a place of understanding. Telling someone you don't like something isn't beneficial. Suggesting something is different than telling someone what they should do! Keep in mind, everyone progresses at different rates, and we are not sent here to judge anyone!
Time and Practice is the only difference between the master and the novice.
I have very thick skin, but I won't allow anyone to tear me down based on their own personal hangups!
I personally motivate and coach depressed folks, and I know first hand that a little positivity goes a LONG way.

I agree. Some people just don't have any tact. It's unfortunate that you got the brunt of what might have been a really bad day for them.
Obviously are able to see it for what it is and won't let it get you down.
