Great post....I have just started using FB ads and now building my pinterest boards..then on to tumblr and possibly reddit. I just added Sumome free apps and its an eye opener on visits so now time to get serious with social media
Hi Hilary, I use SumoMe also. It's very good and the free version has a lot of flexibility.
Thanks for all the info PJ... very interesting stats.
What do you think about Facebook as a net working platform?
Best regards,
Jeff.
Hi Jeff. I have a Facebook Page in addition to my personal profile. I have met people that run nearly their entire business (marketing) from Facebook alone. If you use the groups aspect of Facebook, you can gain targeted traffic that only requires time (no money). It can be very powerful.
Thanks PJ. Not up to the social media as yet, but I will join them all.
What do you think is the best social sites to join?
Kindest regards,
Jeff.

Interesting stats PJ. My question is has any member here consistently sold anything on any of these sites.
Yes, Ken. Social Media is one way to create a following of like-minded individuals. You can get products sold and build your SEO presence at the same time. It's definitely worthwhile learning how to use Social Media.
Don't get me wrong PJ, I do use SM like FB, Google+ ,Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
What I'm saying here that there are lots of groups such as IM, Working From Home etc on these Social Media sites and they are all trying to flog there own affiliate products, because it's a free service for them.
But are they really selling anything?
Is anyone within these like minded groups really interested in your own products or just wanting to sell theirs?
I do agree though that it's a good medium for building SEO presence.
