Creating something really worthwhile

Its been about a month here at WA and I'm really enjoying the experience. I am still amazed at the whole concept of this community set up by Kyle and Carson. There is nothing like it anywhere. I've decided that I'm here for the long run and have comitted and subscribed for a year. My website http://lilkidzearlychildhood is up and running with about a dozen posts already published.

In the past couple of years, I have put up sites loaded with affiliate links, copy and paste content and too many bells and whistles. Wasted so much time and money trying to make money and became so distracted with unhelpful shiny objects (reports, plug-ins, training, memberships, shortcuts to success, magic buttons) . All of this was to no avail as my return on investment, in terms of time, money and frustration was extremely poor.

Problem was that I was trying to do it all on my own and only finding out stuff by trial and error or being led up the garden path by some sort of scam or dodgy 'Guru'. I was too much in a hurry and too caught up with chasing the dollars that I completely and utterly missed the point of what I should be doing.

This time around I am going right back to the start, following the advice from the real experts here at WA to create real value online. Suddenly, I am in a completely different mindset. I really want to research, write good, unique content that provides real value to the reader, and engage with people.

Hopefully, they might become buyers. Maybe they will offer helpful advice and opinions in their comments. Even sharing my blog or posts on social media or in person with friends and family will extend my reach exponentially.

The thing that has profoundly affected me is that I now find myself really enjoying the experience while I provide some really useful information and actually learn so much about my niche for myself.

I've had some really nice feedback from people in the WA community and have started to become involved in commenting, sharing and reading blogs and comments. I've even been happy to give a few members some advice and tips.

Of course I have my own personal goals about what I'd like to achieve in the long term but for the present I'm focused on working step-by-step through the training here, doing each task and checking each box so that I don't make the mistakes of the past.

I am truly confident that I will get there sooner or later. I just want to be the best that I can be and know that the rewards are coming. Whether those rewards are monetary or the intrinsic value of creating something really worthwhile we'll wait and see.
