A couple of things - not sure of your first question? ⊙︿⊙
We build our websites in Wordpress - go to Manage Websites . . .
Go to Plugins and click on the Add New button - in the Search box
type Responsive Wordpress Slider - Soliloquy Lite (better still copy it from here and paste it there!!)
By " these little characters." I think you might be meaning the TextMoticons . . . copy and paste too
