Why Did You Sign Up At Wealthy Affiliate?
Hi everyone,
Two months more to go and it will be my 5th year anniversary with Wealthy Affiliate. Time flies fast. I can still remember how I got here. While on the train/bus going to work, I would Google what work from home jobs I can do, so I can stay home and take care of my then 1-year-old daughter. I found Affilorama and almost signed up. While waiting for their reply to my inquiry, I found Wealthy Affiliate. And the rest is history.
I joined Wealthy Affiliate because it asked to make a promise to give it a try and make it work. I am so glad I did.
"...Make us a Promise OK?
We want you to make us a promise today. We want you to give Wealthy Affiliate a chance first and foremost. We know that you may have had bad experiences online in the past and we want you to allow us to prove ourselves to you.
We care about YOU and we care about YOUR personal success more than you think.
Do we have a deal? :)..." - Online Certification Course, Level 1, Lesson 1
How about you? Why did you join Wealthy Affiliate?
For newbies, what are your expectations for joining? Why are you here?
I found that setting your expectations straight and putting it on the table from day 1 will really help you get started in the right path.
I'd love to know your thoughts!
Cheers,
Pitin

I stumbled into it by accident! It was intriguing and so I joined! It gets better every day!

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your input. Building sites, I compare it to planting. Sowing seeds, eliminating pests, watering everyday, and making sure they have enough sunlight. Seeing the plants grow and ready for harvest (repeat harvest with proper care), is always rewarding.
Good luck on your business!
Cheers,

I wanted to learn about online network marketing so that I could do business online that is why I joined WA
Thank you
Kaya
Hi Kaya,
Your reason is very clear and I am glad you gave WA a try. For my part, I make sure to learn 1 lesson a day, and take action on the tasks being asked to do.
I started with the Online Certification course geared towards Amazon Affiliate marketing. After 3 years, I started with the Bootcamp course.
In between, I watch the replays of Jay's Live training. If I have any question, I type it on the search box on top (beside the WA logo).
All the basics are here to get the first few hundreds of dollars coming in. When you are ready to "expand" your business and earn more money, you can start with that "shiny object" you have been eyeing for - but only one at a time (there's so many!). A paid plugin is a good example to get when you want to increase your Amazon affiliate income.
Stay in touch with the community for support, and stick to the training.
Good luck on your journey.
Cheers,
Pitin
Amazing. Really time flies. I feel like its but yesterday and now I am in my second year. Congratulations! Keep it up.

I was googling for passive income then I found WA. This is my 2nd month.
It is very challenging but the results are rewarding. I'm not earning any yet but getting contents indexed and seeing traffic trickling in is an amazing feeling.
WA guided us but we did all the hardwork ourselves.
Plus, the WA community is very helpful.
hi Ina,
Keep pushing.:) The only way to win is to work everyday. That’s our best advantage against our competitors - we are working when they are not.:)
To your success!
Cheers,
Pitin
