Today, I’m gonna be walking you through the Affiliate Program here at Wealthy Affiliate, which is one of the most lucrative affiliate programs online, and one of the most comprehensive as we offer you as an affiliate a lot of features and tools. You know, banners and media that you can leverage to truly create a full time business through the promotion of Wealthy Affiliate.

So in this tutorial I’m gonna be walking you through all the various elements of the Affiliate Program. And, hopefully by the end of it you are gonna be feeling really comfortable with the Affiliate Program here....how to operate the various elements of it, how to access the Affiliate Bootcamp training and how to efficiently capture things like your links, tracking referrals and manage all tasks associated with people that you are referring here at Wealthy Affiliate.

So the first thing I’m gonna discuss is accessing the Affiliate Program which is obviously very important. So I’m gonna be showing you how to do that, and then we are gonna be getting into much more sophistication within the platform itself.

Accessing the Affiliate Program.

Accessing the Affiliate Program is very simple and straight-forward. What you wanna do is, there’s a $ sign icon with a circle around it in the top header here (see image below), you simply click that, that’s going to provide you with the Affiliate Menu with the various elements of the Affiliate Program ranging from the Program Details page which explains exactly what the Affiliate Program is, commission structure along with some other details.

I’ll be getting into all of these as I move forward through this walk through.

My Stats

My Stats is exactly how it sounds, it’s all the stats, commissions related to your affiliate activities here.

Tasks

Tasks are all the tasks associated with the referrals that you’ve invited here to Wealthy Affiliate. It is the centralised area where you can manage all communications with your referrals and it will notify you when they’ve asked a question, when they’ve left you a comment on your Profile when they’ve responded to you. So it allows for an efficient communication with your referrals which leads to higher conversions.

My Referrals

This is the list of all your referrals that you’ve invited here to Wealthy Affiliate through your affiliate link.

Links and Tracking

Links and Tracking are your links and tracking. There’s all sorts of different linking platforms here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Widgets

You can create your own custom homepages, all sorts of things are provided within there.

Messages

These are automated messages that you can send your referrals when they join, when they upgrade. So there’s different types of messages that you can be able to send and manage within there.

Banners

Banners are the media that you can add to your website. Banners are graphics that you can use on social media to promote Wealthy Affiliate.

So that’s a breakdown of the Affiliate Program Menu

You’ll notice an Airplane icon, that’s actually associated with the Affiliate Program as well. Every year, we (Wealthy Affiliate) run a Conference down in Las Vegas for our Super Affiliates. If you can make 300 sales in a Calendar year, you are gonna be invited all expenses paid.

So if you click that (Airplane icon), it’s gonna give you more details and explain how many left you have to go (See image below).

You can see, I have 251 left to go in a year. So yours will start off with 300 and then it will count down as you move throughout the year and you make premium referrals to Wealthy Affiliate.

So anytime you need to access it (Affiliate Program), simply click the $ icon up here, pop down your Menu and go to the appropriate area.

So the next thing I’m gonna talk about is the commission structure with the Affiliate Program. It’s a very lucrative Affiliate Program, and I’m gonna provide you a lot of insight here within the Program Details page.

Great Commissions, Big Payouts!

The Affiliate Program at Wealthy Affiliate is one of the most lucrative online. And I’m just gonna give you a quick breakdown of the commission structure and the overall Program Details page. You can access this at any time, under the affiliate icon (the $ sign) under Program Details. Just Click that, it will take you to this Program Details page.

I’ll just give you a quick walk through of all the elements of this page.

At the top, this is your main affiliate link. If you ever want to share your affiliate link, whether you’re new to Wealthy Affiliate or you’re an existing and established member of Wealthy Affiliate, this is where you go to get your root affiliate link.

You can get more links here and I’m gonna be discussing that in the next Section.

You can create tracking and all sorts of things. But if you share this (affiliate link) with anyone within the online world, you get full credit for any referrals that come through this particular link https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com?a_aid=5cc8cf19. This is unique to you and you will get all credit associated with that link.

The next section here is the Las Vegas Super Affiliate Conference. I briefly mentioned that.

As mentioned before, in essence what this is, it’s an incentive to promote Wealthy Affiliate. If you can make 300 premium referrals through the course of the Calendar year, you are gonna be invited for a full paid Conference down in Las Vegas with Carson, myself (Kyle) and all the other Super Affiliates.

So, you get to hang out with some of the top Super Affiliate marketers in the world and have a great time. Have a great time every year and we discuss what they have going on behind the scene at Wealthy Affiliate, our plans in a year ahead, our marketing strategies, all sorts of things that we cover down there. It’s a lot of fun.

The commission structure

As a premium member, you earn $23.50 a month recurring. So if you have invited someone as a Starter member, they upgrade to a premium membership, you get $23.50 per month recurring which is around 50% commission. If they upgrade to yearly, you get a $175 that recurs every year.

Conversion rate is around 12% right now. As Wealthy Affiliate continues to improve their service and platform at Wealthy Affiliate, this only continues to go up. And the average sale value or value per sell is around $100+. This is on a lower end of what it actually is. Some affiliates are experiencing a $180, $190 per sell per premium member. And this is based on retention. So someone that comes in for $23.50 a month recurring under you, you earn $23.50 for the lifetime of that premium member. Some people have been here 10 years. So a single commission can amount to several thousand dollars through time.

And commissions are halved if you are a Starter member. So, you can take these and cut them in halves, (for example, $23.50, $175, etc) and you can see the laid out here (referring to.."Commissions are $8 for the first month $19 special offer, then $23.50 thereafter. Starter members earn $4 for special offer referrals, then $11.75 monthly and $87.50 yearly commissions).

First month commission, there’s a $19 special offer in the first month, so the commission for the first month will be $8 based on that structure. And you earn a $1 credit for every Starter member that you invite to Wealthy Affiliate that sets up their account image and their account profile description, you get a $1 credit and you can either cash that out or use the credits within the community for various things.

So that’s the commission structure. Of course if you have any questions about this ever, you can leave your questions here below the video or within the community, or someone will be there to help you out.

The best affiliate training in the world. So you have access to an incredible, what we’ve coined, the Bootcamp Course. This is the Affiliate Bootcamp. It’s a Seven Phase course, or Seven Phases of courses, 70 lessons. It’s gonna walk you from the very beginning elements of setting up your website to far more sophisticated elements – content creation, rankings, PPC, Bing, how to scale your business, all sorts of things are gonna be covered as you move through this training.

And many people have achieved Vegas as a result of going through this training. So, definitely move to this training if you’re gonna be promoting Wealthy Affiliate. It’s there for a reason and it’s gonna walk you through the process of creating a business within the sort of the make money internet marketing world if that’s gonna be your niche.

And at the bottom here, you can use this calculator to see how much you can potentially earn. There’s a couple of scenarios here. If you have 50 referrals a day, 12% are upgrades and 6 months average retention, you are looking at $22,398 per month. So you can see (from the different scenarios) as you start to scale out your business and get to the level of around 50 referrals per day. If you are converting that at 12%, you can expect that sort of monthly income after around 6 or 7 months. And that, it’s completely stable, the recurring model is definitely a brilliant one in that respect.

So, you can insert your own numbers over here and kind of get an idea of how much monthly income potential there is.

The audience that is interested in that can benefit from Wealthy Affiliate, is basically everyone in the world. And It’s close to 4 billion internet users now. So the audience is absolutely massive.

So that’s a breakdown of the program and commission structure.

In the next section here, I’m gonna get into the Stats and be walking you through how to interpret that data.

Your Affiliate Stats

Here I am on the Stats page, you can access this page through the top menu here. If you are within the Affiliate Program, you gonna see the top menu where you can quickly navigate through the various elements of the Affiliate Program or you can of course access it too, through the top affiliate button ($ icon at the top) under My Stats. If I click that, it’s gonna take me to the exact same page.

So, you can also navigate within the Stats page through the sub menu below. So if I wanna go Detailed Stats, My Revenue, Entrance Points, Payments, that sort of thing, I can quickly do it within this navigation.

And we (Wealthy Affiliate) also hold yearly commissions for 30 days just to prevent fraud and charge backs which can happen on occasion but it is less than 1% of all yearly commissions. So it’s not something that you will really be concerned about but it’s just a safeguard and these are released after 30 days.

Credits – are credits that you earn by referring free Starter members to Wealthy Affiliate and you can earn these as a premium member. So if you are a premium member you refer someone that becomes a Starter member and they set up their account picture and description, you are going to earn 2 credits or $1 value. You can cash those out or you can use them to purchase domains, site comment. There’s all sorts of platforms that you can use these credits to purchase things with.

Here’s another quick breakdown. Today, I (Kyle) earned $106, $30 yesterday, $1,497.50 revenue in the last 7 days and $3,533 revenue for this month. So, you’ll all get your full breakdown there as you started earning commissions you gonna see them within these overviews.

And then, Detailed Stats – you can track all sorts of things here. You can set up Custom dates and then below you can see all the different line graphs that are there.

The things that I’m tracking are clicks – raw, unique, content, sales, different types of sales, resubscribes, domain sales, total referrals, people coming through the main website, people coming through custom create account pages, which we will be getting into, referral credits how many I’ve earned today and overall revenue in the past 7 days.

You can change to custom dates, last 24 months, all time and then you can also add fields to these stats as well. If you wanna add more fields, you have a bunch to choose from.

And if I continue down, this is gonna show you, as you set out tracking it’s gonna show you where your referrals are coming, because we (Wealthy Affiliate) allow you to have sophisticated tracking here at Wealthy Affiliate.

And then at the bottom, it just has your payment details and it breaks down that sort of thing. So, you can update your paypal email there. We (Wealthy Affiliate) pay to Paypal on the 1st of every month and you can change your minimum threshold to as low as $10 and as high as $5000 if you want. Some people like to get paid larger amounts at the time. So they set their threshold higher. Some people just wanna get paid right away until it sets out to $10. So, that’s completely up to you as well. And that’s the breadown of the Stats page there.

So, the next thing I’m gonna be walking you through is the Tasks page and showing you how to manage that.

Managing Your Tasks

To access your tasks, you gonna simply click at the top here. And again, you can go through the menu as well. And under Tasks, you click that. And as you start getting referrals, there are tasks associated with it which are mainly communication tasks. But there are all sorts of different tasks that over time we have a lot of data on what converts someone from Starter to Premium. And it is the idea of someone getting help.

People aren’t used to getting help elsewhere when they join a platform. And if you can offer a high level of support and Carson and I (Kyle) and the rest of the community are offering all sorts of support to everyone as they take part in the community. But people come through your link, through your website and they have this inherent trust with you. And if you can communicate with them through the backend you were gonna get a lot higher conversions. So we break this down for you and as they’re communicating, as they’re adding descriptions, as they’re communicating on their the user profile or your profile, asking questions within the platform, you were gonna be notified and then you can come in here and you’ll see the count, and you can work your way through these tasks. You can write your response here. You can reply or you can answer later. But I recommend that you try to complete your tasks twice a day in particularly as you start to get more and more referrals. It’s important that you get back in a timely manner.

So, go through, you know, some people are saying hello, some people are asking a question, and go through and be diligent about doing this.

It will also give you a break down on your progress within this platform in the last 30 days. You can see out of close to 2900 (2834) tasks, there’s only been 29 that are incomplete (16) tasks. So I’ve only actually missed 13 tasks myself in the last 30 days.

So I recommend that you have that sort of diligence when you’re communicating with folks here at Wealthy Affiliate especially your referrals because that naturally is gonna lead to higher conversions.

So, the next thing I’m gonna be getting into is the Links and Tracking. I’m gonna just brush on my referrals which is very straight-forward, and then we are gonna be getting into the rest of the platforms here.

Links and Tracking

So here I am on the Referrals tab. You were gonna simply see a list of referrals as they are coming in and as you scroll its gonna auto load your referrals. So that is, it’s as simple as that.

As you make referrals they were just gonna show up on the referrals page. You can also access that within the main Menu under the ‘My Referrals’.

So, I’m not gonna be explaining more than that. Because it’s not anymore complex. You can narrow down by Premium Vs All. So you can break it down like that and filter it that way as well.

If I go to Links and Tracking, and again, you can access that through either menu, you’re gonna get all sorts of linking options here. You get more features as a Premium member and more linking styles. But I can create all sorts of things..I can create custom Homepage link, a normal Tracking Link, a custom sign up link. I believe if you’re a Starter member you’ll see 4 different links here and those are the links you can use to link people here.

You can create comparison tables. You can input a Siterubix website plugin which is a plugin that you can add on your site so people can initiate the actual creation of a website right from your website.

And there’s tracking here (PPC Conversion Tracking) that you can add for PPC either in Facebook Ads, BingAds or GoogleAdword. You can add tracking there and tracking for Starter or Premium members which is really powerful and something that you’ll use if you ever get into the PPC side of things which many affiliates are, they are creating a lot of success with.

So that’s the Link and Tracking page. It isn’t anymore complex than that. And obviously, there’s more advanced features within these menus. If you’re a premium member we simply just give you a little bit more sophistication with that.

So next couple of things we are gonna discuss is the messages. It’s the automated messages you can add and then the banners section where you can get banners to add to your website. So I’m gonna be walking you through those next.

Messages and Banners:

So here I am within the Messages tab. You can see that I have a lot of different messages. And as you become a Premium member and as you start making sales, you gonna be able to unlock many more messages. And what these are, they allow you to automatically communicate with people based on certain events.

Upon joining you can send people a message whether it’s just a hello, it allows you to interact with your referrals without having to manually do everytime. And it allows you to streamline your messaging. So it adds a lot of efficiency to your business. Of course when people respond to you and they interact back, it’s a kind of open conversation and at that point you gonna be able to communicate with your referrals. But to get people to build trust as they come into the platform, you want to make yourself available and you want to make it known that you’re available within the community and these messages can do it.

They are also highly effective for offering bonuses. So, as you can see it, being a Premium member, if I can send someone a message when they become Premium. So If I’m offering someone a bonus when they’re a Starter member, I can offer them a bonus and send it to them automatically when they go Premium. And you can see there are some member private messages here and some send methods that are going to the user profile so it will indicate whether it goes to Public profile or Private message. And then to manually edit, just click on Edit or if you haven’t added them yet, you click Add. So you have a limited number of these.

If you go Premium you have a lot more. But these are an effective tool of communication with your referrals. You can help them. You can offer them tips and advice as they are getting started. And you can just basically make them feel a lot more comfortable than coming in and not hearing from anyone.

So it’s quite important in particular, because as you build out campaigns and start succeeding with an affiliate program, you gonna have a lot of people who are coming to your website or your social profile, or wherever you’re promoting Wealthy Affiliate. And this is a mechanism to sort of complete that flow of relevance from your website or social profile into Wealthy Affiliate, so you can streamline that flow as well. It’s a very effective platform and it’s very useful for communication with your referrals.

Th last thing I want to discuss is banners.

Banners

So, If I click the banners here at the top. Again, these are all available within the top menu (under $ sign), then click Banners down there. You can get banners that you can use on your website. you can download them. You can use them on any way that you like. You can see there’s gonna be a direct link as well as html code that you can add directly to your website.

This also includes your affiliate ID automatically that you can get full referral credit if you add this banner to your website within the html of your site.

This is all gonna be covered as you move through this training. We are gonna be showing how to insert banners and that sort of thing into your website.

So don’t be too concerned at this point. But you can see as you scroll down, there’s all sorts of banners that are available to you as an affiliate that you can add to your website.

So that’s the banners page. You can see different types of banners depending on what your use is. There’s a Jaaxy banner there. And these will evolve over time.

The platform will certainly continue to evolve with a lot more promotional tools and materials. We are constantly evolving, Wealthy Affiliate in general.

But the affiliate program evolves very quickly as well. We are always integrating new platforms and new features for affiliates to make your life easier and your ability to promote the service that much more efficient and effective conversion wise.
