I went through the lessons but when i get to choosing a theme and see all the empty space...i just dont know where to go from here.
Your theme will just be a personal choice in the end, so many people get stuck here and waste many weeks, my take on this is, keep it simple, remember its your content that matters, the reality is your future readers don't care how pretty your site is, they only care that it solves their problems
Your web site is just the medium, in which to build your marketing campaigns on, getting your readers to click your affiliate links is the real challenge in marketing, because that is how we get paid.

I have to be honest the aesthectics are not that important. It is more important to use the right style. For instance some magazine themes are designed for news type stories with a image. Some themes are better for video content with a gallery, and some are better for images because they have thumbails.
Whe I first started I stressed out on themes and wasted time, my advice is get one up ad if you do't like it chage it. The simpler the better as far as I am concerned. Don't waste time get a site up and start making money

Do you think picky cats and nutrition is a good niche?
If you have something to write about or answers to questions people are asking then maybe. I just bought a third row seating suv and I have been looking for products for it. For example floor mats to fit it and a carpet or pad to protect the back of the seats when I am hauling my music equipment. First do a keyword search on Jaaxy and see what the numbers are. Then a google search on your browser using your keywords and see what the competition is doing. It may be too broad. I do not know. If you need help doing either one of these searches let me know.

If there are a group of people out there who desperately need to solve this problem then you have a good niche, if there are not, then you have a hobby

I guess i will find out! ha When i first tried to find information concerning my own pet it wasn't easy. Especially trying to find it all in one place. I suppose that either means no one else has a cat that Will Not eat cat food or they just don't have much information about it on the internet. Either way, weather your cat demands it or not, i think i can draw some interest into better nutrition for cats in general. Plus, eventually id love to expand on the topic once i accomplish my main goal.
If finding information about this was difficult, then you may be on to a winner because if no one else is providing this info, you could become the lead website in this niche, wishing you every success

Great. I would suggest that you make some videos of your cat from your phone, preparig your cat food etc. There is also the aspect of cat behavior the psychology of your cat
Pets in general are a great niche, but in particular there are more people with cats in USA than dogs. People spend a fortue on their pets and cat nutrition is important because they are carnivores. So yes I would say great if you are interested in cats. As a writer of webcontent for over twety years, it get hard to maintain an authority site when youare not interested in the subject.
