My first days and weeks here at WA - or the way from being skeptical to being encouraged
I am a relatively new member here at WA. At this point I want to share with you my impressions I have gained. First of all: How did I get here? I am on a journey (not physically). The target of this journey should be the fulfillment of my dream: To be as free as possible and to be able to work from everywhere I want. I have tried to achieve that by doing some things, some worked better, some did not. I asked a friend who has already achieved this freedom if he didn't know anything else I could try - and he sent me the link to WA.
I had a look and thought: Hm, that looks pretty complex at the first glance. As I have really many other things to do the last thing I would need is another topic I have to spend hours and days to get into it. But I gave it a chance and wanted to see how it goes. At first I was skeptical but as I went through the training lessons one by one I got more and more curious and at the end delighted.
The first thing I thought was: "I will never find a niche or a topic I can build a website on". But WA is concepted in a way that you cannot "escape". It makes you just do things, it encourages you to act. When I tell other friends about my new-found occupation I say: Well, that is very complex at the one hand but at the other it is so easy that a child could do it. And that's what WA makes so fantastic.
Then I found my first keywords and started to write. My first thoughts were: "What the hell, I cannot even write one sentence about this topic, how should I write 1000 words?" But, as I had to finish the lesson I just started to write. And - what a surprise - it was not as difficult as I thought.
It is really great to have the chance to be here. I have learned so many new things already. Things I didn't know they even existed. I also found new skill that I had not known that I have. I am still at the start but I will continue this journey!
