Permission
When I started my website of promoting different gifts for Seattle Seahawks fans, I touched base with the people I wanted to promote and asked for permission to use their product photo and let them know I would direct the link to their online store.
One of my favorite responses was from an individual who thanked me for asking permission because she had just received an email during the weekend letting her know that her photos had been stolen and used on other stores and it wasn't the first time. She makes really cool things. But what was even more awesome was that she offered to promote the website without even me asking her. So that's super kind.
If any of you have a free moment to check out the website, it's www.hawktownoutlet.com. It's not visually fancy, but for my core audience of 12s (Seattle Seahawks fans), I've been getting really positive feedback. Many have said content wins over style.

great job on your site,
although I am not a nfl fan, I appreciate the work you have done to create the site and the credit that you gave for the name
you have set yourself up with integrity which will serve you well
all the best,
Thank you very much, especially about your comment on integrity. I think that character is so important. It takes a long time to build people's trust and just mere moments to destroy it. So I definitely try to live in such a way that who I am - whether in person or online - that I am trustworthy.
very good!
all the best
