So still here! They got me!
Don’t I feel like a fraud?
So I left and thought right time to move on to (tough niche and all that jazz) and work on my other projects.
So I cancelled my account, but WA still charged me for another month.
So I just rolled with it.
So then my niche website at Wealthy Affiliate jumped in traffic and has grown since. So I thought, hey, what is this?
So I just kept writing.
So then WA put on a great Black Friday deal, which, to be fair, was excellent.
So hey, I am still here.
So yes, I have signed up for another year with 5 minutes to spare.
(Scarcity mode works)
So what is the lesson?
So what, no idea.
So yes, I feel like a fraud. ( the irony of having a book out that deals with that)
So anyway, yes, nice to be still here even though I left.
So have a great weekend.
And yes, my word of the day is SO.
So what?
No idea! Have You?
Phil

Good afternoon Phil,
I'm glad that you are still at Wealthy Affiliate, I think you have made the right decision. It was also a fantastic deal this year.
I believe you're quite active here, I really like the idea of not only having an online business but having like-minded people to connect with. And of course, the training is excellent.
Wishing you all the best and a great year at Wealthy Affiliate.
Roy
PS: I'm surprised that you have written only one blog post, here at Wealthy Affiliate! Is that correct? I thought I had read quite a few of your blog posts or maybe it's just that I have read your comments on other members blog posts!
Hi Roy that's lovely of you to say. And yes I will post more. I have tried not to make it a distraction. Great to hear from you and thanks for your encouragement. It means a great deal. Much appreciated Phil
Hello again Phil,
Thank you for your reply, it's appreciated.
I understand Phil and in some ways that is quite smart of you! Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform, however, and I include myself in this sometimes; it's easy to be distracted when we should be writing content for our own websites!
As we know, Wealthy Affiliate is a very sociable platform, but the reality is that it's meant to teach us how to build a successful online business! I believe far too many members have been caught up in the social aspect of this great platform rather them building their online business!
So to conclude, I believe you have quite a good principle.
All the best.
Roy
Thanks Roy I know I wasted a lot of time at the beginning which cost me. So you are very spot on. My new mantra is content for my website first then platform second. Much appreciated.
It's a pleasure, Phil.
I fully understand where you are coming from, time can go so quickly when we are busy in front of the screen.
Yesterday I watched two training classes, which was great, however, even that was almost an afternoon gone. Partly due to the fact that I was stopping and starting the training as I was putting the training into practice. I also appreciate this is why we are members of Wealthy Affiliate, to learn more.
Often I will actually listen to the training on my phone while I am working my off-line business, it's a great resource. However, for some of the training, we really do need to be in front of the screen.
I have digressed slightly as I know the main place where we lose time in replying to comments and blog posts. I actually often refrain from writing a blog post on Wealthy Affiliate as I know I have to reply to the comments!
Have a great Sunday.
Roy

So you have used that word to great advantage. Glad you stuck around. It sounds like a synchronistic experience to me. There is a reason why you are still here, even if you don't see it. Perhaps your website will take off like a winged bird and take you to new heights. I hope so.
Thank you, Fran, and I agree 100 per cent. I appreciate this message very much, Phil
