I don't know Copyscape but the figures look okay to me.

There will be a small element of duplicate content due to similar phrases we all use, 3% seems great.

I know what you mean about trying to get it right though, I'm only just starting out and I do wonder but I will see how it goes.

I think those numbers are great

I would be more concerned about the unique content, and I would say that 87% is good, and in time you will get better. Common content could be just be phrases that folks use daily in writing, or verbally for that matter. As I'm not familiar with Copyscape, I'm not sure of their definition of duplicate content. I would take it to mean that the content in question was used elsewhere in the post. That might be alright in some circumstances.

87% unique seems more than acceptable to me. Of course I have no idea what Google's policy says about it.
