As long as you are affiliated with the program they've give material you can use, I would always adhere to their terms and conditions.
Ok I suppose I will just use Amazon for now until I check with each other program and know for sure what is allowed. Thank you for the reply.

Hi, Phil,first, make sure your image has been scaled correctly,height and width. Now you can try to delete the border by adding some code to your Additional CSS in Customize. Go to Appearance>Customize, scroll down to Additional CSS and add he following code:
a img {
border: none;
}
Click on Publish.Not sure if it will work but worth a try. If it doesn't, just delete the CSS code in Additional CSS, click on Publish, and, unfortunately, your back to square one.
Thank you for your help! It didnt work sadly but I'll remember that code for later if I need it. I decided to use a new theme option for now and different logo for the time being.
I'm using Smush image optimizer and if it doesn't like the size of an image, it puts a yellow border around the image. It only shows that for me, not visitors. Is the border showing even if you aren't logged into Wordpress?

Thank you for your help! Yeah everyone could see it. I think it might be because I'm using it as the header logo right now and should add it as a background or something in WordPress to get the full spread I'm looking for. Not sure how to do that but once I have more time I'll look around. I decided to use a new theme option in GP for now and different logo for the time being though so at least for now it looks OK.

Although I cannot give you an answer to your question, I think it should not affect you, how are all those webshops doing it out there selling the same products, and still they are ranked high and still selling.

In case anyone else has the same question it will not negatively affect your website at all and your rankings will depend completely on your unique content such as your post and pages.
