Niche Choice!
The time is rapidly coming when I have to make two possible life changing decisions ( according to my training that is, I know I'm a bit slow but I might take a bad dive soon and that's me for a few days).
I already had a website up & running before I discovered WA and it covers three broad areas; Working from home, My Garden, plus a Bipolar page. From what I gathered it's best to narrow things down a bit.
My first niche will probably be, 'Grow Your Own Tomatoes'. I grow a lot of other produce as you can see on my site but tomatoes are a PASSION. I love to smell the leaves as they are growing; there are so many different varieties; cherry tomatoes (Sweet Aperitif & Supersweet etc) I eat straight off the vine like sweets (candy) and are great in salads. There are loads of other tomatoes that I grow in the greenhouse or outside e.g. Alicante, Money Maker, Ailsa Craig etc.
But I also grow for the freezer, to make Soups, sauces for chilli & Italian pasta sauces and much more; the tomato I choose for this is the Italian plumb tomato, S. Marzano. What is good for Italy is very good for me.
I have just touched on the subject of tomatoes, Books have been written. It's a multi-million
dollar industry. The tomato is a very versatile fruit/vegetable, I love 'em.

I'll definitely have to check out your site if you are doing growing vegetables or the like. My son (who's homeschooled) and I are trying to get our own veggie patch going with limited success so any tips from a pro would be good!
Purely self taught Megan, I only started when I had to give up real work six years ago. Good luck to you and your son.
