Brave New World?
Out with a bang and a wimper!
I've always passionately believed in the future of the Human Race.
Now I think the 'Race' is all over and lost now forever.
It will not be long before we hand over control to our cousins swinging in the trees; I hope to their god that they will have learnt from our terrible mistakes.
We have been slaughtering our people for hundreds of years. In the last hundred years
in the millions!! We are a supposedly civilised society. Therefore we should have run out of excuses.
We should have learnt, but after all this time with all the lost opportunities, it hurts me to say we will never learn.
I've got about twenty years left at the most so I'm going to live out the rest of my life in the countryside, in the quiet contemplation of nature and the thoughts of what might have been.

I live out in the Country Pete and I love it,we are also less than half a mile from the beach.Was out with Duke about 20 mins ago and we met up with some of our dog walking friends,there was still quite a crowd on the beach and in the water and two horses cantered past us;I only take Duke out in the morning and evening when the weather is so hot.Some folks were playing tennis down at the club but I decided to give it a bye as we played a match last night,besides when it gets to warm I will be indoors in the shade.
Can understand where your coming from, it would be so good if everyone could live side by side in peace
