Hi everyone, I've reached the end of Level 2 of training and I'm feeling really proud of myself. When I first started this process I was a complete novice to affiliate marketing and my computer skills were not the best. So my expectations were not very high.

Easier than I thought it would be

I began the training in earnest and totally surprised myself on how quickly I was getting through the training and how I was managing to understand the majority of what I was learning. So far so good. Then became the writing content part of the training, I'll be honest I was nervous about this part of the process but i was surprised to find I found it easier than I had imagined.

Another thing that I was a bit in awe of, was how everyone in the community was so helpful and supportive. I have encountered zero negativity so far and haven't ever experienced that before in any community I've been involved with.

My first bump in the road

As I work full time and am a dad to two beautiful and amazing kids i thought the training might take me a while. But again I was surprised at how quickly I was getting through it. As I was approaching the end of level 2 i was feeling proud of myself and excited to move on to the next level of training as i was enjoying the whole process immensely.

It was at this very point that i hit my first stumbling block. Social Media!

I've got very limited experience with social media. I do have a facebook account and i check it from time to time but how you do most things on there I wouldn't know. So the opening account part of G+ and then sharing a new post I found extremely difficult and spent far too long over thinking the whole process. Also, just to complicate matters further I was ghost- writing my website posts in my wife,s emma's name ( the sites about shoes for nurses and she's a nurse ) so should I open the account in my name or hers.

I sought advice from my mentor Mike and also Carson and Kyle ( By the way you guys are amazing with all your help and support. ) I was sure I was doing something wrong but they assured me I was going down the right avenue. They also offered me their advice on whose name to open the account in. With their help I cracked it. Once the account was opened on G+ it wasn't too bad after that as I had to create a new post and post it on G+ with some engaging content. As i said previously I find the creating content part easier than I thought I would.

I have learn't so much in such a little time and will continue to strive to succeed here at WA. Even though I found the last part of level 2 training quite hard I'm still loving the process and would probably say I'm quite obsessed with it.

So I'd just like to say believe in yourself, because if an absolute novice with very average computer skills like me can do this then you can too.

I am now really hopeful for the future and believe I can earn a living from this in the very near future.

If anyone has any questions about the training up until this point I'd be glad to offer any help I can.

Have a great and productive day.

Peter

Peter,

Congrats on your success in that arena and on your overall success so far in the training etc.

Like you though I am lacking in the let us say, "Social Media Graces" although I also have a Facebook account I very rarely check it (why you might ask) because it just seems to me that people put far too much information on there, I honestly don't care about when the last time someone went potty (OK that might be a bit of an exaggeration). But I may just be coming to you for some advice in that arena so I can overcome my social media issues hope you don't mind.

Dr. Carl

Peter, you are a fast learner
And keeping up with challenges, wHich are plenty!

Wishing you all the best

Peter, I needed this, thanks a lot for sharing. I feel like I'm learning a new language, but as a foreign language professor, I it can be done. Just do it, practice and keep on track.

Hey Peter, we are so happy for you. So many people give up when they reach that first hurdle but you seem to have taken it in your stride. We wish you all the best moving forward.

hey there
I'm too stubborn for giving up. I've been told its one of my worst and best traits,
Thanks Peter

Hey Peter, thanks for your post, you sure have come a long way congratulations. I find it interesting that you are writing as a ghost writer. What did you do for social media, your name or your wife's name. Reason I am asking, I want to do some similar for my husband when I have my site up and running. It is true that you need to believe in yourself, I know this yet sometimes struggle, so your post was a great reminder of the importance. Thanks again,
Mary

Hi Mary, I went with emma’s name and put my website name underneath in the tag line or nickname box. I’m ghost-writing the site because my niche is comfy shoes for nurses and she’s a highly qualified nurse. So I thought it would carry more weight coming from her perspective. If I can be of more assistance please ask me and I’ll try my best to help.
Believe you can do this
Peter

thanks

Great job for pushing through the obstacles; fantastic that you reached out for help on those specific questions that were holding you up and resolved them so quickly. Keep up the great work!
