In France, Max Schrems has filed a complaint against Google. The man is a well-known privacy activist and says that Google violates European privacy rules when placing advertisements. Google does this to offer personalized advertisements to users without their consent (PDF). The advertising tool that Google uses on Android phones is described by NOYB (Max Schrems' lobby group) as a digital license plate.
IKEA & Sonos
IKEA currently sells a bookshelf equipped with Sonos built-in speakers. Now the two companies would market a totally new product. This is a painting with built-in speakers to hang on the wall. Honeywell will release a new mouth mask on Thursday. It would include built-in headphones and three fans. This reports The New York Times. There are also LED lights, a rechargeable battery, and a 5.0 BlueTooth connection. The mask is made of silicone and could also be worn without fogging your glasses.
