Losing the faith!

I have been at wealthy affiliate for several years, I have several authority websites set up in several niches, I have created several of my own products and I am attempting affiliate marketing using clickbank, amazon and a couple of others plus some adsense etc. on all of my sites.

I'M NOT MAKING ANY MONEY!! ( No more than chump change anyway!)

It's costing me a lot more than I am making, I am putting in hours upon hours, learning, researching, writing (okay maybe not as much writing as I should) and I want to know that it will be all worth it soon or am I wasting my time and need to finally admit to myself and my partner that I need to find a real job!

I understand the niches may be broad, my keywords may not be the strongest, my sites are not perfect, I don't write enough articles, but can it really be that difficult?

If someone, anyone could just assure me that if I hold onto the faith a little longer and write more or whatever it is Im missing, I may just be able to recoup some of the money I have poured into this dream and save a little dignity as well!

If I have to go and read another online course or tweak my sales copy one more time I think I am going to spontaneously combust!

If someone out there in Affiliate land has been there and overcome this issue I would love to hear from you. (Only successful Internet Marketers Need Apply, I don't know if a perky well wisher is going to do it for me this time!!!)

Regards,

Frustrated Entrepreneur. Peter M

Pertaining to this...
"I understand the niches may be broad, my keywords may not be the strongest, my sites are not perfect, I don't write enough articles, but can it really be that difficult?"
Are you answering your own questions? It isn't that difficult, like you said. It's consistency.
Narrow niches, awesome Keywords, and plenty of helpful/updated content.
What are your urls?
Let us see and maybe offer some help!

Hi upsgirl, I really don't know, I honestly didn't think that those things were that bad (niche, keywords etc.) I was hopefully being a little sarcastic. But if that is the problem, I would love some direction as I feel I am throwing time and money at something that is a lost cause. If someone can tell me honestly to move on or that it will only take a slight change in direction and then stubborn determination to keep at it with content etc. I think I just need that reassurance or brutal honesty to try something else. Here are the 4 main sites I have been working on.

Any feedback is appreciated!!

Did you read my PM?
Everything can be fixed. I did read these. I left you Keyword details. Let me know...

Hi upsgirl, I dont seem to have received a PM.

Oh no...let me resend...good thing I followed up...

Hi upsgirl, not sure if you have resent but I still have no PM.

Sorry...no...I deleted...don't ask...lol!
Let's start over. How can I help?
What is your niche?

My first niche is bonsai. http://balconybonsai.com.au/

Okay, let me check something...

Bonsai isn't even close to the required QSR of 300. It's 420. I will be back.

Tree care isn't even close either. It's 4930000.

So what keywords have a QSR of 300?

Well, there are many. Did you miss this in the training?
I'm not sure how you got this far without noticing. If you don't effectively use Keywords, you can't drive traffic to your website. Does that make sense?
Have you looked at your Blog rankings in Google?

Keyword research has changed over the years! My niche is bonsai, my main keywords are "how to bonsai", "Bonsai Website", Bonsai "Gardening secrets" and "Bonsai Tree Care". Not sure where I currently sit with those in google at the moment, they bounce around a bit so I stopped obsessing over them and tried to put more energy into producing my websites and products etc.

I understand Keywords. Your Keywords are not included in your Blogs. People aren't visiting because they aren't aware. I checked 6 and nothing is correct. If you say you did follow the training, great! Just trying to help. Sorry, just continue doing what you're doing. Good luck!

Hi upsgirl, please don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be defensive, so I am sorry if it has come across that way! What I mean is that this website was originally created with siterubix when it was a web building software not a subdomain. I changed it over to wordpress in 2011 so it's about 5 years old, you know how quickly the internet has changed in that time and obviously the training has changed a great deal as well, so yes my understanding of how keyword research impacts my site is probably VERY outdated, which is the feedback I am really after. It sounds like I really need to go back and look at the whole keyword thing if that is something you see could be the issue.
I know I am clearly missing something so continuing to keep doing what I am doing would be foolish for even a stubborn ass like myself. I will re visit the keyword training again before I take up any more of anyones time. If you understand keywords I would still like to bounce things around with you once I have completed the training to make sure I understand what I am doing. Thanks Peter

Hey, no problem...I am here. I just think, from what I see, your Keywords weren't used correctly, in the first place. Remember the "tree care" Keyword? The QSR is WAY TOO HIGH. Bonsai tree care works but you didn't use that Keyword. The Keywords need to be exact in order them to effectively work. I am here, if you need me! All night...
