Review Previous Lessons

Sometime it helps to Review Previous Lessons. Not every time you read something for the first time will you digest everything. It can take 2 or more times of going over the same material for it to really sink in and realise that we have finally understood what we are being shown.

Whenever I was studying a piece of course work needed to be in by a the next day, I never look at the material again after the first reading and yet at the last moment, would have opened my text books and gotten out the question being asked and just answered the question, with only a few hours left.

From this although never having failed an exam, realised that it is definitely not the best strategy in the world, as so many of us do the same thing leaving things to the last moment before we would answer, what was being asked of us.

Even in a Final Exam, I could have went into a 2 to 3 hour exam and been Finished with lots of time to spare. Around an hour and a half, for a 2 hour exam and 2 hours for a three hour exam. I would put down my pen or pencil having finished.

I am sure the examiners must have though you could be finished with at least an hour and a half of exam time left. Yes finished and not even worried about the results, as I knew I would pass.

Now I take more time when doing lessons, instead of cramming everything in to a short space of time, I now take my time, and use it wisely when I would never have though twice about Reviewing Previous Lessons, I have realised that you take more from this strategy than by not doing so.
