Don't Put Too Many Affiliate Links? Is it True?
Hi everyone,
We are always teached not to put too many affiliate links.. But I'm wondering is it totally true.. Of course, by using "too many" affiliate links, I don't mean to putting 100 of them to your article, but I was always thinking that everything more than 2 links (for a single product review) is too much..
Today, I was researching some stuff, and on Google Page 1, #2 position, I have found this article:

They have 9 affiliate links for a single product review article.. and still, they are ranking well... So? How many affiliate links is really too much and will affect our rankings?
I'm a bit confused at the moment, and I'm not long enough in this kind of online business to know will it affect my rankings (didn't have time to make some tests)

There is an instance in one of Kyle's lessons where he says between 4 & 10 links are ok depending on the quality of the content and the length.
But if we do that for say 100 - 200 reviews, imagine the number of affiliate links sitewide lol.
Even though Prettylinks plugin has a "nofollow" option, I still don't trust it. So I add the attribute manually to the links in posts - still keeping them to a minimum.

I try to keep them to a minimum as well. Just enough to get the job done without overwhelming the audience with links everywhere.
In the training, Kyle uses 5 links to promote his juicer. He says that is definitely not too much in that training session. Not sure this may have changed as the training is quite old! Jude
On my experienced my content ranked #1 by google and yahoo, I had 8 affiliate links on it 1,463 words.

I have put up to 4 different kind of affiliate links in my articles. I am not expert but is seems okay.
