Did you know this about Meta Tags?
Oh, how much I still have got to learn!! It’s just about 1 year since I joined WA, and still I often feel like a Newbie.
Today I read a post written by AussiJeff, that made me realize this:
Every page or post has its own “Meta Discription Attribute”. I thought that we only could fill in the meta tags on the “General Setting”-page in WordPress. But you can and you must fill it in at each and every page.
There are four major kind of Meta Tags, and these are:
Meta Keywords Attribute - A series of keywords you deem relevant to the page in question.
Title Tag - This is the text you'll see at the top of your browser. Search engines view this text as the "title" of your page.
Meta Description Attribute - A brief description of the page.
Meta Robots Attribute - An indication to search engine crawlers (robots or "bots") as to what they should do with thepage.
If you want to dig deeper, here is the link:
Here you can have look at Jeffs post:
Why haven’t I realized this until now. I suppose this is just basics in the online world. Oh, I feel quite a bit stupid. But even though this stupid feeling I don’t want to withhold you this information. There may be some species out there in the WA space, who don’t know this either, especially speaking to the newcomers now.
Only one way to go, straight forward to success,
overcome embarrassing feelings and
learn, learn, learn,
share, share, share
care, care, care!
