Hey y'all, just thought I'd post an update. I've been going a bit nutso with my second job. I'd gotten to the point where I was saying "something's gotta give" all the time and just dreading Thursdays because they led to Friday night work after work and then all Saturday. Luckily I remembered that when I'd started the second job, I figured I'd give it a year and then re-evaluate. It's been a year and this, tonight, right now, is the return of 2 day weekends. It baffles me that I used to work two jobs and sleep in 4 hour shifts - but then that was 20 years ago so maybe I don't remember the misery.

Now that I have a little more freedom, I'm looking forward to jumping in to the second module of training. Also, I'm slightly terrified that I won't be able to pay the bills. So I'd better learn fast.

Fun fact: I don't like writing non-fiction as much as I do fiction. I was moping that it took me all stupid day to research and write 1,000 words. On the other hand, if I could do that every day, it would mean boatloads of content. I still like writing the real stuff. I like making stuff up more.

I'm becoming concerned that there are a limited number of chicken topics and once I'm through the training and feel like I know what I'm doing, I will be looking for another niche. I won't abandon the first. I think it's a solid small area. Realistically, I'm sure there will always be new content. Just not daily.
