I'm Getting There
It has been so long since I've been an active part of running my online business that it all seems strange to me. It's hard to get back in the groove when you've forgotten where the groove is! Nonetheless, I've got to get back in focus and move on with this very important part of my life. Thanks to all of you who have been so understanding and caring during this time of personal grief. You mean a lot to me.
Now to begin thinking about where I want to take my website next. Spring is (hopefully) right around the corner, and with it comes a plethora of opportunities to write content. Thanks to Jay's recent wabinar, I have some ideas on how I want to write that content. I also want to get back to the Affiliate Bootcamp training that I've started. Wealthy Affiliate is a tremendous opportunity for anyone who wants to work a profitable business from the comfort of his/her home. We all are here for many different reasons, but the bottom line is that we want to work from home for ourselves and not make money for someone else's pocketbook. This is the perfect place to make that dream come true, so I'll be spending a lot of my future time building my affiliate website for WA.
There are still a lot of business matters that I must conduct for my late mother, so my time is going to be split for awhile longer, but I plan to spend part of every day doing something (even if it's a LITTLE something) here at WA.
It's good to be back, my friends!
Pat

It is a process finding your rhythm again after losing someone that you love and has been a part of your everyday life... It sounds like you are on a goos path. Great to have an update, have thought of you often.
Thanks, Julie. You've been through this, so I know you understand my flailing around trying to find my way back. It's not easy, but it's necessary now.

I know the feeling Pat and personal priorities always come before WA. That has and is happening with me and my family right now, as I am only really active here at WA on Sundays.
Do what you need to do and when the time is right, jump right back in to the training. I know it is what your mother would have wanted. Good to see you back, even if it is half way. -Robert
Thanks, Boomer. Mother was always interested in what I was doing all the time on the laptop. She never understood much about computers, but she knew how much enjoyment working on them gave me.
Pat
Hi Pat. I only just found out about your mother because I only started following you around the time she passed away. I can well imagine what the last few weeks must have been like for you. I was in a similar situation just over three years ago.
I have looked at your niche site and read 'Can you get lost in a book' and thoroughly enjoyed reading this. You could write a 'book of the week' or 'book of the month' blog with a following of 'people in retirement' who could suggest books and write comments/reviews at the end of the week or month. (Just a thought - it might be something you'd enjoy doing and writing about.)
With lots of warm wishes from across the miles,
Isabella
Thanks, Isabella. That's a great idea. I like to read, so this might be a really good thing to write about. You've given me a start, and I truly appreciate it.
Pat
Would be happy to exchange ideas with you if it's something you'd like to do. I can't help with any techie things but talking about books... that's something I can do. :-)
Great to have you back, Pat. We all need to take time to do those things we must do. The people in our lives come first. If you ever need help please give us a shout, you know we will come running.
Thanks, Rick. I know you'd run all the way to Texas to help if I needed you to. I appreciate you, my friend.
Pat
If you have any questions about settling your mother's affairs, let me know. I did probate administration law for over 28 years. Debbie

Great to have you back :-) take your time, you'll get your groove back.
Thanks, Digger! The older I get, the slower I move, but I'm determined to find my groove and make this business work.
