Thanks WA Support - cPanel and using AI to help

I've built a couple of interlinking websites and in one of them, I'd linked my Facebook post (via Smashballoon) so that each week when I upload my pictures/videos, they automatically upload onto the website. It worked when I initially did it, but didn't thereafter. I'm a big user of AI and the different providers have different advantages. Anything website related (building / coding etc) I'm finding that Claude is at the moment streaks ahead of Gemini (for artwork - or here at WA), and ChatGPT for day to day things. Anyway Claude advised trying installing the free WP Crontrol plug in - amazing and picked up 19 errors. I took a screenshot, asked Claude to analyse it and it became apparent that I needed the power of the support team to update it as we don't have access. With the details I / Claude gave, this was resolved by support well within 10 minutes and I can't say how grateful enough I am - definitely deserved this post... I've deleted out the name of my website due understandable rules and delinked it as I only want this to help, not promote.

Also worth noting that site support was delighted with clarity of my needs as per the details below.

Many thanks again to site support

The transcript:

Hi, after much searching around are you able to:
Ask your host to add a real server-side cron job hitting https:// xxxxx .com/wp-cron.php every 15 minutes (most hosting control panels — cPanel, Plesk, etc. — have a "Cron Jobs" section for this).
It is linked to my Facebook feed not auto uploading into the website and will apparently fix some other issues. Obviously I've been using the power of Claude for this as I don't overly understand it...
Many thanks for any help or advice as always
Peter

Hi Peter,
Done — and your instinct (well, Claude's!) was spot on.
We checked your site and found its scheduled-task system genuinely wasn't being triggered on that server, which is exactly why your Facebook feed stopped auto-updating. Two things are now in place:
1. A real server-side cron job now runs for xxxxxx .com every 15 minutes, just as you asked.
2. There was a backlog of 19 scheduled tasks that had been waiting to run — we ran them all through immediately, so everything is caught up as of now.
Your Facebook feed should resume updating on its own schedule from here (give it until its next planned sync). If it still hasn't pulled anything new by tomorrow, reply here and we'll look at the feed plugin itself.
Thanks for the clear request — it made this an easy one to action.
