A "No Brainer"......

Well, here I am. 53 years old and embarking on what I hope will be a new career.

I had been thinking about doing something like this for a while, but having got to this age and suddenly been made redundant my chances of getting gainful employment were getting slimmer by the minute.

Combine this with the fact my wife has a serious condition, which requires full-time care. I took this opportunity to look after her, and spend more time with her. But with a drastically reduced income.

As my career was IT network support I had been scouring the web for viable on-line-based projects, most of which are scams, some don't even try to conceal the fact they're scams.

Three months down the line, and here I am. Trying to write. Nervous

I'm absolutely fine with Wordpress, I'm looking forward to exploring JAAXY, that looks so cool (Please tell me if that last phrase "so cool" is cheesy). I know what Adwords, Adsense, Rankings and most of the other stuff is.

Come to think of it, I have a pretty good idea on what I'm going to niche-blog about.

Now, here comes my problem. I'm absolute crap at writing blogs, sales copy marketing or anything like that. So any help in that direction would be gratefully received.

In return, anything I on the "tekky" side, I would be more than happy to help anybody.

Anyway this is my first meagre attempt at a blog.
