I have checked if they are turned on but there is no place to give a comment?

Paul this might help. it has all the places for comments to hide.

Thank you for the suggestion. I found out when a post was on the page then a comment section showed up.
Thank you

Paul

Have you tried to enable comments on the quick edit? Go to all pages >quick edit>allow comments

You should also look at the "Customize" option in your dashboard. In it, there may be an option to "enable" comments. I sometimes find this makes it work.

Thanks for the info, I've tried that to. I actually had a conversation with Kyle about this, and he said that it is definitely Theme specific and that there seems to be a dearth of free themes that support page commenting. While it is part of WordPress, it's still reliant on the themes to actually serve up the feature.

Well we'll have to see if this theme has or doesn't have it in this case. If it doesn't allow comments, yeah def change the theme ASAP.

Glad it worked!

Whether or not pages support comments is theme dependent. Thus far, I have not found any themes that support page commenting. Posts support comments. You can try turning on comments by using the 'quick edit' on your page name to see if that works, but I have thus far been unsuccessful. If anyone finds a theme that support page comments, please let me know.

Thank you I will give that a try
