WA is a brilliant platform and I am glad I found it. The only problem I have is that I got a bit too excited at the beginning and instead of just setting up one website I created 5! I know what was I thinking.

I have had lots o business ideas floating around in my head for a few year and tried on numerous occasions to get these online businesses up and running. I built websites using Wordpress, which is great but I don't have the technical knowledge to implement all the SEO, sitemaps, Social Media Links etc etc. So these website are half finished and done do the job I need them to do, so I wasted quite a bit of time, effort and money trying to get these businesses off the ground, and guess what, I lost hope and faith as I couldn't get the help and support I needed and couldn't afford to get professional help.

So I sort of give up on my online business ventures...until I read about Wealthy Affiliate, and probably like most people at first I thought it was some type of scam, but after reading many reviews I decided it seemed legitimate and I would give it a go, and it was free to register and take a look.

Pretty much straight away I got the feeling Wealthy Affiliate was a good place to be, not only did they help you build a website, they learnt you all the other things you need todo in and around your website to make it successful, things such as SEO, keywords, blogging, social media links, affiliate programs, niche marketing the list goes on. Not only does Wealthy Affiliate provide easy to follow lessons that make you implement things on your actual website, there is a massive community with WA that also offers help, support and guidance whenever you need it. These people have experience in websites and affiliate marketing and have probably been on the same journey as I, and you, are on now, so it is much better to learn from and take advice from people who understand what your needs are and what you are trying to accomplish. Even the website founders are active and will answer your questions and get involved in discussions.

Anyway, now you can see why I got so excited and cracked on building my first website, which was pretty easy now I had all the help, but before I completely finished my first website (and they are never finished) I couldn't help starting another one in a different niche, and then because I had a few more ideas in my head I started another couple of websites which seemed a good idea at the time.

However I have became overwhelmed with all the work I had set up for myself and instead of focusing on one website I was half-heartedly spending small amounts of time on each website and trying to progress them all at the same time and rate.

This proved a bit difficult and affected the quality of my content and websites, so after a bit of hard thinking and telling myself off...I am only going to concentrate on one website at a time, at least until it is finished, (well all the pages done, SEO, affiliate links etc).

Once the site is finished, all I need to do is write blogs and post to social media etc, the harder work is done, I can then spend time finishing my next site, then when that is finished I have 2 websites that are up and running but only need managing then. Then I can finish my other site and then have 3 to manage....I think you get the picture now of what I did wrong, for me personally anyhow.

So the lesson I learnt is yes WA is great to get your website up and running, in fact I would say it is easy and simple, maybe too much so which is a great thing, unless you are a bit like me and a bit to eager to get going and all of a sudden you think you can have all your ideas up and running in a short period of time, if your a computer whizz maybe.

But for the average person I think it is important to take one step at a time and concentrate on one idea at a time, get this idea up and running and you can fine tune it on the way. So I had to take a step back, re-focus and then getting moving again focusing on my first website and finishing the complete training course, once you do this you will have experience and knowledge so it will be easier and quicker to do your 2nd, and then maybe your third...you get the picture.

Anyways thanks for reading my post which I though I would share as there maybe other people who have lost focus, for whatever reason, and WA is an excellent opportunity to help you achieve your goals so dust yourself off and get your head back in the game, don't let yourself stop yourself from achieving your goals..only you hold the key to your destiny.
