The Grand Assumption

In the world of clicks and digital fun,
There was a big job that had to be done.
Everybody knew that a brand must grow,
And Somebody surely would make it so.

Anybody could have designed the ad,
To stop the bounce rates from looking so bad.
But the campaign launched with a silent thud,

Everybody blamed Somebody for the mess,
While Anybody could’ve tracked the ROI, I guess.
But when the analytics were finally read,
Nobody did what Everybody said.

So, the budget was spent on a broken link,
While Everybody watched the conversion rate sink.
Now Somebody’s fired, which is quite a shame,
