First of all just log into your site through siterubix and go to site manager and log into your website then find the page/post you want to edit and click on it.here is a video to show you how to do drop down menus.

You create content thru your posts and pages and then you click publish to make it live. Afterwards you can go back into that same post or page and make your changes and then click update. The publish button has become an update button

Tommy's got you for the drop down menu. For pictures, it really depends on where they are. If they are on a page, you need to edit that page. If they are part of the theme, it may be the case that you can't remove them.
Don't stress about looks so much. Get a simple site set up, and start working on content. That's what's going to make sales!
