Day 3 & 4, Progress Thus Far

Day 3

My progress thus far at WA per Course 2, lesson 10. October 29th, 2013. 7:55PM EST

I have learned A LOT today!

I have 3 posts on my website and 7 pages.

I have created a Google + account and have linked it to my website.

I have learned more about keywords... especially the low hanging (fruit), low competition keywords.

I have learned more info on how to write better content and where the keywords go in it (title and first paragraph or 2... then let the remaining just flow naturally)

Day 4

I have learned many things today.

Like the value of writing a reviews, for example.

But my favorite part of today was adding Affiliate links for affiliate programs... Amazon, being my favorite. I love how easy it is to get a link from a product on Amazon via that toolbar that stays at the top while on Amazon..... brilliant.

So, I've added a few small banners to my site, too..... nothing that hurts the eyes, though.

I also signed up and set up Google Ad Sense.... and while watching it I was disappointed at the "0" people on your site. I thought, with all the work I put into this site, I'm sure someone is wondering around on it somewhere, but I was wrong.

I felt bad after that and thought lowly of WA.

But, then I realized it's only my 4th day in, hahaha. I'm still a newbie.

Making it rain doesn't happen this early, I suppose. But, I signed up to WA in the hopes I could make some money in a week or 2. I still have that in my mind. It's only been 4 days, and I want the action now!!!

But, this isn't a get rich quick thing, so I'll truck on.

This too shall pass

Goals for Day 5 (or after):

note: all goals do not have to be completed today

• Improve existing content
• Add content, if time allows
• Focus on using the keyword only in the Title and once in the First Paragraph, and no more in the post.
• Make content interesting to read, and be informative, as well.
• Know the competition better - make a list of all the competing websites and learn from them, even the AAA gaming website, like Machinima or G4 TV.
• Make a list of good keywords to use, and use them.
