21 Days at Wealthy Affiliate
Hey folks. Well, today is my 21st day at Wealthy Affiliate and running my website.
My site has gotten 669 visits in 23 articles so far with no profit made, as of yet.
I was hoping to make a buck or 2 in my first month, I've made $.03, but that's not very impressive. lol. If I saw 3 cents on the ground I wouldn't even pick it up. So, I don't consider it a profit.
Anyways, I have learned a lot and have spent a ton of time managing my website and creating keyword content of a decent quality, which I will continue to do.
The video game niche I have chosen is CRAMMED with so much to write about...we're talking endless subjects and a constantly growing video gaming industry to feed off of. So, I have no problem when it comes to writing content.... It's pretty fun, actually.
I'm not sure I can afford the monthly $47 for WA for my next month. the due date is approaching. I may have to get out of Premium service for a little bit until I can come up with some money to continue WA, which I want to do.
I'm not quitting yet. Success down the road is what's driving me right now. I am a little frustrated due to the fact that I have no evidence of profit from all the work I've done, but that's just how it is right now. I need to get over it.
I am lucky Google accepted my application for Ad Sense, and also happy InfoLinks finally accepted my application for their program, as well. They actually took longer than Google!
So, I'm just starting out working with these publishers... I'm not sure what to expect.
Content>>traffic>>profit
I fully understand this, as described in the training. With good content comes traffic, and with a lot of traffic comes profit. I'm still working on increasing traffic. I feel I have the good, quality content down pat, though.
My question to WA Members
Have you turned a profit in your first month?
I know asking about money is a little immature, I agree upon this fact, but I need some reassurance to help me continue. I need some opinions... I need some feedback.
Thanks for reading!

David, 21 days and you are not in profit yet...lol. In the brick and mortar world when you start a new business, how usual is it to make a profit in the first month? It is no different online.
You can build a website quickly, but a website is not a business. ~ Jude
It took me almost six months before I saw any income, but it will come it takes time to build a reputable business so be patient my friends
Yes that was with my WA promoting website so I can get enough to cover my cost and now working on my niche website with no pressure nice and relaxed. Be patient
WOW, Tommy. I wish I'd been able to go that route! I guess I've done it backwards. PATZ; It's been about 10 months for me...and I'm only just NOW seeing very small amounts! ...VERY small!
Yes if you get 3 premiums it will pay for your WA membership and pro Jaaxy and that is what I shot for.
Me too, I'm at zero. Just remember you are building a business. Don't give up find a way to stay. Besides i thing this is tax deductible and you may be able to claim or recoup some if not all your expenses. Keep hope alive.
for me $0 now, but im not loosing my hope, maybe it will come on the next day, but im a positive person, just keep it rolling.

Some of the things that I created 5 years ago are still making money today. At first they didn't make anything, but over time the profits grew. You may find that only 20% of what you write brings in the income. Once you hit the winning content it will produce for years.
