My progress so far

I have made a great deal of inner progress as well engaging in a lot of reflection. The lock down affords me the time to be engrossed in the WA training,
This exercise has also brought to the forefront some disturbing aspects of my character. Initially, I was highly skeptical and judgmental of the program, remembering some Latin anecdotes from my days at Eton College.
The one being,"Si spectat ad bonum et verum, non sit verisimili" if it looks too good to be true it probably is.
And the other, "Caveat emptor" Let the buyer be aware.

Being a culinary professional, I am all too well aware that the future looks particularly bleak for the hospitality industry. Here in Spain hundreds of thousands of jobs have already been lost in this sector. So I said to myself "better find a lifeline buddy"
This approach however, is tantamount to a sailor with a lifeline just in case, hence the line itself is of minor importance as the focus is on not falling overboard.
So I shopped around for a lifeline, uncovering many affiliate marketing programs that ranged from the obvious amateurish scams to the likes of the slick, glossy pitch of Stuart Ross (Google it) Not you Kyle!

Frankly I chose WA as they, in my mind at the time, were the best of a bad bunch, like the rest, constantly pushing "upgrades" down ones throat and finding a myriad of methods to fleece you on your journey.
These scams are invariably executed as early as possible in the clear knowledge that you would eventually smell the roses and bail. At which point they move onto the next victim.
Quite unfairly, now in hindsight, I jumped down Kyle's throat in a private message when he proposed the option of paying the domain subscription for a year. I only hope that I can be forgiven in saying that I was in the throes of cold turkey from my hectic life style before the lock down which, as you may know, is heavy-duty here in Spain. A total calamity!
So yes, unfortunately the scam artists place one in caveat emptor mode and one is quick to jump to hasty conclusions and generalize. Better safe than sorry is sometimes a rather narrow-minded and cynical approach
After all, there is absolutely nothing amiss in offering incentives, even if they do benefit both parties, as long as the proposal has a genuine and honest motive and outcome.
In my own profession we utilize much the same MO;
A restaurant client orders a steak at $25 and we convince him to take a lobster at $60 menu price with a $10 discount. But he does get his lobster and its sooo good!
Upgrading to premium and engaging in this adventure was my lobster. Enough said!

The aftermath of the COV19 crisis is most likely to see us faced with looking at life from a totally different perspective. Hopefully we may well find ourselves in a more self-fulfilling realm and possibly even able to look back and ask “what have we been missing?”
I have decided to cast my lifeline overboard and simply leave the boat to move ashore.
I have thus far found the program immensely rewarding and fulfilling, in particular the research of keywords that opens up an entirely new field of vision

So ends my progress so far.

My niche that I am working with

This is a no brainer!
I have been a chef for the past 40 years, worked in some of the best hotels and restaurants in the world, been Sir Elton Johns private chef, a personal friend of Freddy Mercury as well as fashion guru Carolina Herrera who was my next door neighbor. Outside of private jets and mega yachts, I have conducted food festivals throughout South America and the Caribbean, hitchhiked through South America and seen Afghanistan from a flower painted VW camper during the hippie days Pablo Escobar was a regular client in my Michelin star Caracas restaurant. Cooked for Royalty, the international jet set and vast numbers of the rich and famous. Fallen off a cruise ship at dead of night in the middle of the Indain Ocean on route to Australia during a hectic party on deck!
And all of this mainly owing to my metier.
I bring an enormous amount of expertise in my niche, gained through extensive travel to dozens of countries as well as many amusing anecdotes. This is what I will bring to the table.

Even if you would propose that I could make millions flogging TV's I would decline, as this would not interest me, besides, I would fail miserably. Though I will say that although money may not buy happiness it sure as hell helps!
We will always need to eat!!Possibly the niche with the broadest range in existence as it also overlaps health and fitness as well as other categories.
Then again, as the training emphasizes, it is certainly an advantage when readers perceive the author to be a trusted expert in his or her field and therefore more likely to respond to recommendations. You can't be treated by a dead doctor.

I will not comment on the last two topics suggested as we are at the present facing grave uncertainty as to the future short or long term.
Besides, for me the present has always been my future.

In closing, I shal repeat a quote that I used in my recent very short blog that I erroneously published long before completion. It would appear that posts cannot be deleted as with Face Book?
