Creating the website can be done later, but what interests of accounting will be helpful to others?
I was about to make (and I will make possibly) a website about basic accounting, where I would help people without any accounting knowledge to understand the basics, to be able to communicate with others having that knowledge.
Sounds too broad. I would highly suggest finding something that you are passionate about and starting with that. You want to make sure that you narrow it down as well as when people search the Internet for something they are looking for a specific answer and not broad information.
Take Kyle's example of weight loss and how he narrowed it to losing belly fat. If you had some belly fat you wanted to lose would you click on the general weight loss site or the site that specifically deals with belly fat? See what I mean here?
Thanks for the fast reply! I understand what you mean. Perhaps I will focus on household goods and maybe I will be even more focused on kitchen products.

I suggest you to have something you like to do as your niche, if you do something you like, you will do well.

I would depend on your audience but I would think explaining Debits and credits followed by Assets, etc.
Thanks for the idea. Definitely I will include in my introduction the debit and credit concept!
Start by expalining the different types of accountants ie chartered etc. Then how you qualify and then how they differ etc and the content should follow as you delve into it

If you can find lots of quality, low competition keyword phrases and you can write fairly extensively on the subject, I say go for it!
